Growing up in the 90s my mother was a big fan. I had ones I liked but it isn't really my cup of tea.
I did love the stadium country era. I can listen to a Garth Brooks album any day.
Keith Whitley, Dwight Yoakam and Marty Robbins were some others I liked. Classic Cash and Kris Kristofferson are two I got into more when I hit my teens and I explored Billy Joe Shaver in recent years.
I love alt country like Ryan Adams and Counting Crows.
Bright Eyes has a great country infused album called Cassadaga. Classic Cars is a banger.

I don't mind a bit of country although its not really a genre I really lean to. Trace Adkins is my go to though. First song I heard of his was about women's asses and slapping your grandma, so I was hooked.

I heard the chorus to Honky Tonk Badonkadonk in a commercial once when I was a kid and it forever turned me off of Trace Adkins 😂
