Hi guys, Ive been using lavasoft ad-aware for just over 2 years and it seemed I didnt have many problems with regard to spyware.
I ran my computer through the symantec secuirty website today and was shocked to see I had around 8 different sorts of spyware on my system.
Seems like ad-aware isnt the answer alone, problem is theres soooo many anti spyware programmes out there....
any ideas on which are the best ones out there? Ideally i'd like one which has 'real time' protection - so it can alert you while you're online and get rid of the stupid spyware.
- temporarily ive downloaded Spybot search & destroy - to try and get rid of it but I don't think its deleted everything that the symantec website had come across.
thanks in advance

SpySweeper works pretty good for me, although I've sometimes had problems deleting certain things.
If I even think there's a virus I just reinsall my OS.
