Great pictures PJ, but i have a question for you.....
Do you think Jakks has provided us with a spot on 100% Hogan figure yet?
I think the best ones are NWO CS8 (obvious) and the EX red and yellow, but i really don't think we have a definitve Hogan figure from the 85 - 92 era.

I think the CS8 NWO Hogan is by far the best. But as far as a regular Hulk Hogan goes I think the MegaManiaces is the best. Also does the Rocky III Thunderlips remind anyone else of the cartoon Hulk from Hulk Hogan's Rock & Wrestling hour?

thanks for the Hogan pics. CS8 hollywood would be my favourite. I've never seen a pic of the back of Hogan's cape from Rocky. I have that MOC, so it was nice to see.
Do you have a 1/100 Hogan? I noticed you had the Warrior.

I noticed you had the Warrior. Nope the Warrior is the only 1/100 I have. Although I wish it was the 1/100 Heenan. I was supposed to go to that Toy Fair and help cover it as well, but again my daughter was sick. (She seems to get sick every year around Toy Fair and I seem to get sick just after Christmas every year...We'll see what happens this year) But I would never buy a 1/100 figure unless it was a wrestler I really loved watching as a kid.

Great collection. I would have to say the CS8 NWO or the CS12 Hogan would be my favorites.

I think the best ones are NWO CS8 (obvious) and the EX red and yellow, but i really don't think we have a definitve Hogan figure from the 85 - 92 era. To be fair, the CS8 WrestleMania 1 red/yellow Hogan w/ 85 belt is perfectly accurate too. Whether you like the painted on headband is down to personal opinion (it's no different to the painted on shirt on the CS 8 nWo figure really). But you can't fault the accuracy of either CS 8 figure. If you do really hate the headband, then the Argos UK Exclusive (2 pack w/ Andre) is the best 80s ring gear Hogan. It's just a shame it didn't come with a removeable shirt or anything. As PJ said, the MegaManiacs version is also perfect, but again, it suffers from lack of a T-shirt like the UK Excl. CS 11 also suffers from the "no T-shirt" syndrome, other than that it covers his 2002 run perfectly. BATB is without a doubt a PERFECT WCW street gear figure, and all you have to do to have a WCW ring attire figure is to put the BATB headband on the Mega Maniacs figure. Save for the missing kneepads on the final product, the two-pack Hogan (w/ Blassie) was perfect for that era! Great robe. And how can anyone fault the blue tights '80s Hogan? That was an unexpected treat. Much like Thunderlips. Not to mention the TWO eras/attires covered in one by the Ticket figure, and the novelty of the Tuxedo and Terry Boulder exclusives? CS 12 is fine for an nWo Wolfpac Hogan, but the headscan bothered me, so I can understand criticism there. In general though, I pretty much do think that Jakks has covered most Hogan eras very well across the board. There's better things to criticise Jakks about than their handling of Hogan. Other than Mr. America (which at the moment is impossible due to Marvel's complaints) and a barrage of repaints with the headscans inverted (a black ring gear nWo figure with a different headscan and no T-shirt, for example?), I don't really see where Jakks can go with Hogan anymore.

Great analysis (and great collection, PJ). As for where Jakks could still go with Hogan, I can't think of a new variation they could do, but I'd love to see DAs of nWo Hollywood Hogan and 2002 WWE Hulk Hogan. Hopefully, Jakks can sign him again, if they haven't already, and make those happen. -JJJ

awesome pictures PJ. thanks
Hogan has had some great figs, CS8 NWO is the best one, i like the megamaniacs for a ring gear hogan.
CS12 could have been so much better with a better scan, same with the belt pack one.

Excellent pictures, I love all the Hogan figures apart from the belt pack one with CW torso and arms, that's the only Hogan figure I think really needs to be made still - a decent Hulk Rules version with cloth shirt and removeable bandana, apart from that I think there should be a retail version of Terry Boulder with chest hair because most people don't own the 1/100, they could do one with different colour tights and maybe do a CSTT with Ed Leslie/Boulder. My favourite Hogan figure would have to be the Mailaway Hogan in workout gear, I love the detail and cloth accessories. It's nice too see some close-ups of your Billy Grahams too, I've always liked the purple tie-dye one in your sig, the paint job looks excellent close up too.

I wish I would have known, we could have made a deal when I sold my Heenan. I agree with you saying you'd only buy a 1/100 of a wrestler you enjoyed. I have had them all and didn't enjoy some of them enough to justify the value. I would have a real hard time getting rid of Warrior, but I don't think I could ever part with my Hogan.
