not counting unreleased figures i've been lucky enough to (eventually) find every figure i wanted
there was a time when though I was looking for these for AAGES:
WCW Slam N' Crunch Saturn WCW Smash N' Slam Lex Luger WCW Smash N' Slam Scott Hall WCW Ring Masters Rick Steiner WCW Ring Masters Chris Jericho WWF Rulers Of The Ring Tazz WWF Too Cool Boxed Set (Original one with red attire S2H)
And a few others probably. But I've now got them all, or replaced them with another figure.

Mine were managers in general, I always hoped Hasbro would make a Bobby Heenan or Jimmy Hart and there was always rumours flying around the playground that they were just being released in America because someone went on holiday and saw them (before the internet). Now we have hundreds of CS and RA figures and still no managers! Managers that are in a different scale to the wrestlers don't count.

WCW Hak.
I was a huge ECW fan and when Sandman went to WCW and became Hak and they made a figure of him, when he came BACK to ECW in 1999 I tried SO HARD to find that figure and never found it.....and ECW's figure of Sandman sucked.
Really, I never got a GOOD figure of Sandman until WWE made RA and DA versions of him in 2007.

Not when I was little, but the first figs I wanted when I re-started my collection was AD3 Michaels and Jericho, and I did get them. When I first collected, I think it was wCw Perry Saturn.

I mean I'd seen him on WCW, but i just thought he was a newbie/jobber. I just bought it cos I bought one of every character released in figure form. Same as i do now with WWE. you're right that both his ECW and WCW figures were awful. The RA one makes up for it at least.

I always wanted the WCW Kanyon fig, and eventually got it for Christmas one year. I flipped out.
So yeah not exactly what you asked, but close.

I always wanted the green carded Hasbro series as well as a few others including Rick Steiner, Lex Luger and Yokozuna. Fortunately, I was able to add the latter three and Series 11 Ludvig Borga to my Hasbro collection over the summer.
Borga was MOC and since I collect loose (and since I needed the money), I sold him for what I paid +covering the initial shipping costs, so I don't regret it even now.
As for some others, I always wanted the BCA Grudge Match 2-pack Billy Gunn in white tights and Superstars Series 1 Razor/Diesel. I now own Diesel loose and had Razor MOC before selling him a while back. I might buy the Grudge Match set somewhere down the road, but other than that, I don't recall any figures I've always wanted and never got, thankfully.

Ever since Trish's debut, 2 years after I started watching wrestling, I wanted a fig of her. I remember I would always look online and there would never be a fig of her. I remember when I got the FC series trish off ebay. I in flipped! Then the OTR Trish came out and... I was even happier. I payed like... $20 for one off ebay, then found it in stores a week later for $8. I was pissed >( sorry for not answering the exact question : /

Back in the late 70's when I was little I wanted a Remco Batman that was motorized...He had a grapple that made him climb. As far as wrestling figures go I always wanted the LJN Hart Foundation & British Bulldogs.
