OK, Firstly, I'm just out of bed, so I don't really know what has been discussed in the past few hours.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but did we get to see CSDA Proto's or MOC pics? Because i don't remember seeing them (I mean MOC pics released by Jakks, not by ourselves).
Although I don't remember seeing proto's or MOC's, I don't really collect CSDA so if I did see them I probably wouldn't remember anyway.
But, if we didn't get to see them, and they just started randomly appearing in stores... I reckon thats also the reason we haven't seen CS16 prototypes yet. Although CS16 is released worldwide, and i think CSDA are exclusives, so they'll need to give us something to look at for those who pre-order i guess...

Wasnt CSDA1 like that. By the time we saw protos they were showing up all over the place. In this case we didnt get the protos at all?

Yea, shame we didn't have protos. Now you can't get matching outfits to go with your figures.

most of the time with the exclusive figures we either dont get proto's or we get proto's after they start showing up in stores.

I seem to remember that we got RA17.5 and WM21 series 1 Protos quite a bit after the MOC pics.

CSDA's havent ever had proto pics released (except series 2).
Also we haven't seen MOC pics of CSDA 3 besides ones posted by members and the link you mentioned between this situation and CS16 seems reasonable but i think CS16 was just held back because of troubles with making Shane O.

Well, they are TRU exclusives so unless we see pics from a trade show like the NYC Toy Fair or an event like RF I doubt they'd even send out proto pics.

I want to say that we actually did get proto pics for series 1. No, I think Jeremy only showed us the early stages of the Hogan proto...and he came with either a cart or stairs that was supposed to play his theme music. |
