In another board, I've been in a discussion with several other members regarding the status of this figure. They claim he is considered a CS figure and I say he isn't.
What does everyone here think?

I'm one of those that doesn't consider anything classic unless there is something on the packaging that says it is CS.
Therefore, whilst I think that the 1/3000 Regal is a nice figure, I don't have it down as classic.
God bless.

No, why would it be considered a classic? Only figures that say classic on them are considered classics. The only exception would be IE Flair.

The only exception would be IE Flair. you are condradicting yourself. really, think before you post. he is a classic, but the figure isnt. it doesnt say classic on it. just like what you said. you seriously need to learn how to think before you post.

There are figures that some people say are "considered CS" because they are of someone who is in CS and is still a Classic look so the only thing missing is the CS logo, they are neither CS or current but they are nearer CS. I'm not sure how current the Regal was when released but now he does have a proper CS figure and the IE is far superior to his actual CS and was also the figure shown in the proto for his CS figure. It has a flag like the actual CS Regal and I reckon the CS Regal was supposed to be a rerelease of the IE before Jakks cheaped out on the Best Of British set. The RSF Yoko compared to CS Yoko is the same as the IE Regal compared to CS Regal, both are far superior to their CS, same style box, cloth attire, flag. Most would consider the Yoko a CS so Regal can be the same. If you just care about the CS logo then that means the Helms from the belt pack is more Classic than the RSF Yoko or IE Flair, it's just what ends up on the packaging, I collect everything with the CS logo but I judge for myself what else is a Classic style figure.

Personally I don't think the Regal is a CS, but I do think the Mankind, Flair, Yoko 1/1800's are because of how they look which is considered a Classic to me. It really comes down to a personal preference.
On the flip side, even though guys like the Hardyz & HHH are packaged as CS figures, I still don't consider them to be based on who they are. That's just me though.

I wouldnt label it as one. It seems more representative of the most recent years.

Nope! Unless it has the CS logo, it isn`t CS, Just as the brown Mankind isn`t CS! I agree with that logic, plus it's an easy way to decide on whats classic and whats not.

I consider it a 'Classic Moment' not a Classic figure why what 'moment' is it based on? I believe sometime in 2004 during the Evolution/Eugene/Ben**t fued when Triple H beat the living hell out of Regal with a sledgehammer, putting him on a stretcher. It was featured heavily on one of Trippers' titantron videos.
