what would you do?
I would bring the entertaining wwf gimmicks and fire the other pointless wwe superstars. And give money to Paul Hangman and give him ecw back and let him run his own show.

I will make WWE into Attitude Era again, and make a title in sense. So do storyline and keep one or two storyline as main storyline, but in attitude era style.

They want brand extensions. I say give it to them. Depending on how long ECW is signed on Sci-Fi for, I'd bring all of the cruiserweights over there and start up a cruiserweight/x divion type title as the brands secondary belt. Change WWE Smackdown to WCW (considering the fact that WWE owns that trademark and is spending all that money keeping that name under the WWE banner) Smackdown and get Eric Bischoff involved in early storylines creating a sense of rivalry between the 2 brands.
Set-up the Survivor Series like they originally were. 4 man team elimination matches w/ 2 championship matches in between. Bring back a classic PPV events like King Of The Ring or In Your House as a yearly PPV tradition. Nobody associates with Backlash, Unforgiven, No Way Out PPV names as something classic. Those PPV titles don't get the fans excited and talking about how great the 2006 No Way Out card was or how classic the 2003 Armageddon was.
Form real tag teams and stick with that formula. It frustrates me to no end to see guys getting thrown together one week and winning the tag titles the following week without a meaning or purpose. Give people teams they can identify with and look back on with great pride.
Be consistant with storylines, the writing seems rushed and storylines come and go so quick that casual fans don't know who's feuding with who, week after week. Casual fans tune out and tune into other programming when writers pull stuff like this.
Give the term Wrestlemania, it's definition back. Everybody should be on the card much like the earlier Wrestlemania's and give the PPV a 4-5 hour time block. Make Wrestlemania more of a blockbuster event to differentiate from all of the other pay per views. It should be considered the monster PPV of all of wrestling. Right now, Wrestlemania is simply an overhyped regular PPV on the WWE's schedule with the "Wrestlemania" name attached.
Create a "Clash Of The Champions" type event for it's loyal audience once or twice a year. Remember the old Clash Of The Champions matches set up on WCW back in the day on TBS for free. PPV type atmosphere and build-ups would culminate in these events. It would get fans excited over the product and feel that the WWE was giving them something special.

Paul Hangman?
Seriously?
Anyways, Id end the brand split, and listen to what the fans had to say.
