Do you think if Owen Hart had not died, that the Over the Edge PPV name would still be around today ? Cause it was scrapped pretty much because of that.
Every other PPV name, bar St. Valentine's Day Massacre, that year stayed around.
So do you think it would have ?

I meant there was at least another one after 1999. If you know what I'm saying. Sorry for not making that clear.

A similar question: Were it not for 9/11, would Raw still be known as Raw is War?

Yes to the OTE question.
No to the RIW question.
Both names likely wouldn't have lasted much longer anyway. Regarding the ppv's, only a few like Backlash and Unforgiven lasted anyways as the picks of the litter of ppv names.

Anyone else kinda miss the little "sub" titles for PPVs? (I can't remember the actual word)...It was things like "In Your House: Good Friends, Better Enemies"...and "In Your House: Breakdown"
I assume it was purely to differentiate IYH 2 from IYH 30, but it added a little something

A similar question: Were it not for 9/11, would Raw still be known as Raw is War? Didn't the "War" rep the WCW/WWF thing, and when it ended and WWF won, they got rid of the "War" cause the "war" was over?

The first hour was more like Heat, not as risque and not as many main eventers. The second hour made note of their would be more risque storylines and action, and better superstars.

WWE could/can claim that they have two of the highest rated cable programs.
