So, WCW in it's last years wasn't getting ratings. WWE now isn't getting good ratings. WCW's reason for not getting good ratings was holding there talent back and having the big money making no talented wrestlers be main eventers. WWE is making people like Khali as champion and Cena holding it for a year with tons of people who are way more talented than him.
Anyone else see WWE going to where WCW went?

No.
WCW ratings were abysmal. None of WWE's younger stars are ready yet. And incase you haven't noticed, Cena, Khali & Punk are part of WWE's younger stars.
There still young. Now if you want the new WCW, you go TNA.

WWE had horrible ratings in the mid-90's. They almost went out of business back then... Wrestling's a big cycle, I'm sure they'll get out of their rut soon enough. I think the biggest mistake they've done is go Public, now it's not just about what's good for the product, but more importantly what's good for the investors.

I'd love to see WWE go out of business, and with the upcoming wrongful death lawsuit, congress, and other various factors, the liklihood of it happening is quite greater then anyone here would think.

I agree. The fact that Smackdown in particular has such a limited roster and boring matches and storylines, shows they are getting desperate for viewers. They are keeping Cena champion in an effort to create the new Hogan, someone who is seen as a face because of the way WWE creates the impression that everybody likes them. WWE would go further if it allowed some hostility towards the faces nobody likes, like in the attitude era, but no, it's not going to be that way. The pathetic and quite ironic way that since the new ECW came along they have removed almost every type of hardcore and backstage match, means that it's basically a good version of Heat, but it's not ECW and should be given a realistic name for what it is. Raw is ok but is in the same boat as Smackdown. WWE is losing it's roster for these reasons. 1. Releasing wrestlers, and for the most part with no reason 2. Jumping Ship after getting pissed off with WWE. 3. Death And it's happening faster than you think. I mean it's no use for them to say to a wrestler "We just have no room for you on the show" when there's hardly anyone on the roster to have a match with anyway! It's madness I tell ya. The main problem is the lack of competition. TNA would be fine and dandy if it was given the exposure WCW was, but it isn't, and so is limited to the small amount of people who have the specialist channels needed to see it, whereas WWE is easily available.

There is nothing wrong with Cena holding the title for close to a year. Guys like Bruno Sammartino used to hold the belt for 2-3 YEARS, and that wasn't even his longest reign. Cena is the top draw and WWE would be foolish not to hold on to him as top main eventer/Heavyweight champion.

There were so many other factors that contributed to WCW's downfall...hell, TNA is doing more WCWish things than WWE, but to be honest, I don't see either promotion going under in the near future.

Cena is the top draw and WWE would be foolish not to hold on to him as top main eventer/Heavyweight champion. Yeah, but Bruno was the champ for that long in a very very very different time period. Longer champions worked then. Now, not so much. I'm not saying change the belt month to month, but I say 8 months to a year is an acceptable reign these days. WWE is going nowhere. They still make lots of money. They survived Hogan, Savage, Hall, and Nash leaving. They'll survive this.
