I don't watch Smackdown as often as I should, but I always read about it and try to follow it as much as I can. But can someone clue me in on where they are going with the MVP/Matt Hardy feud? When was the last time these guys were on a PPV and fought for the titlle? I have no idea what the point was by making them tag champs either. I guess them being the champs kind of puts a strain on them going at it for the US title, yeah so I dunno lol...what do you guys think about this?

They SHOULD be going 1 on 1 for the United States Championship.

They've already done the "Opponents as Tag Champs" storyline this year!!
Plus, it's been dragged on way too long

They're tag champs because MVP said he could win the titles from Deuce and Domino with anyone, even the next person who walked in the room. Sure enough, Matt was the next one in.
I think this feud is brilliant. It's the tag team partners who hate each other in a way it's never been done before. Instead of them just going at each other's throats physically, they're mentally getting in each other's heads. And MVP still has what Matt wants, being the US title. I hope they keep going until Survivor Series and have Matt finally get the belt then.

Sure there have been rival tag champs before. But this one has it's own sense of originality. And the fact that even though they hate each but are still willing to fight for the tag gold makes those titles much more important. And this is only 1 chapter in the feud of the year by a mile. When Cena/Michaels had them it didn't make the belts seem important they only did it so tag champs could head into Mania and create some dissension between Rated RKO (which never really happened). Then they turned on each other to cost themselves tag gold, making them seem weaker.
By a country mile the most entertaining feud of the year. Nothing even comes close.
