I think it was vacated on smackdown and read a few months ago they were going to get rid of it and start a new X-Division like title.

I think he was stripped of the title this week, so right now it's vacant.

I think it was vacated on smackdown and read a few months ago they were going to get rid of it and start a new X-Division like title. As long as they bring in 5-10 more former X-Division or ROH stars under 300lbs. I am a Fan of Samoa Joe just not as X-Division champion. Anyways if it is true what do you think they will call it. The Cruiser X Championship is what I want it to be called.

Does it hurt to check the SmackDown results? I don't mean to be a prick, but if you checked SD out, you'd see that Vickie stripped Hornswoggle of the title.

Now they just need to put it on Noble.

That belt is a complete joke now. Even if Noble did get it, it's way too late. That belt can't be taken seriously anymore now that Hornswoggle has worn it.

I guess putting it on Hornswaggle was their way of giving up on it. Not to mention having Jamie Noble job to him.

The only way that title can be saved is Noble vs Yang. And let them go all out & you'll have an amazing match..

They should really move a few of their guys over to ECW (Moore, Noble, Yang) and use that belt as a secondary title on that brand (almost as an X division sort of thing). An hour show or not, you have all these wrestlers and one guy with a belt. At least the title could gain some sort credibility again...look at some of the guys that they have over there that could feud for that title along with the 3 I named off that's not doing much on the ECW brand....Striker, Nunzio, etc.
The cruiserweight belt is a complete waste on Smackdown. It's too diluted...The brands should only have a main title, secondary title, and (at least for Smackdown & RAW...) a tag title. Nobody cares about the belt because the focus is on the other titles...shifting the title to ECW will put the spotlight on the belt since it would be considered parallel to the RAW's IC & Smackdowns US titles as the brands secondary belt.

Vickie abocated it but what they really need to do is retire it.
