I say Finlay. The dude has been going since 1978 and he's still really good.

I say Edge. he is the best on the mic and in the ring.
on a side note, whenever someone starts a post like this, asking who is the best, how come most people list like 5 names. The best means ONE.

Triple H, Shawn Michaels, John Cena, Edge and CM Punk are all the center of the WWE imo

I agree. It's like, if there was a World Cup of Wrestling and you could only send one person on your roster, you can't send 5 or 8. With that said. I would say Edge but he's hurt. I'm just gonna have to go with the guy who's been on top for the past couple years and that's John Cena.

Easily Shawn Michaels.
He could make Khali look good in a wrestling match.

I'd say Edge to me, I'm partial to heels, he's had great advancements these last 2 years.

if we're talking purely on in ring ability... finlay by a good margin, followed by mvp, michaels, jamie noble and jimmy yang in that order. on the mic... edge, michaels, hhh, carlito and mvp are all fairly comfortable and dont make me cringe. overall, id say michaels is probably the best, finlay comes in a close 2nd on his in ring ability alone, and then mvp.

John Cena
Nobody is more hard working and has the passion for the business like him. People can hate on him all they want. It's not his fault that the writers are cramming his wrestling persona down our throats. I mean what would you do in his shoes? He does what he is told and works hard at what he does. I cant fault him for that. It's why he's still champ right now...

Maybe not win it on the first go around, but let the WWE writers know that he can contend with the best.
