tbh, when he left I was one of those little 11 year old Cena mark outs. So I was happy...

I assumed he would be back in a few weeks. 2 years later he still isn't back. I remember having an argument with SodaGuy before SummerSlam 2005 telling him Jericho would beat Cena. But he didn't. Haha! I rememer that one. I didn't really care but I kinda want him back at this point.

I assumed he would be back in a few weeks. 2 years later he still isn't back. Yeah, agreed. Call me crazy, but he did get dumped in the garbage truck with Bischoff, right? (What a way to go out if that was the case) Assuming he is returning, I can't wait to see the reaction he gets.

I was cheering for him live at SummerSlam. I just kind of accepted the fact he was leaving then, but it wasn't too big of a deal since we all pretty much knew he had no shot at becoming champion then. I am anticipating his return now more than ever, but I really don't see what there is left for him to accomplish in WWE. I almost would have preferred he stay away from WWE, similar to the Rock.

Not only did Jericho leave the company, but he lost to Cena in his last match. What an awful way to go out. I felt terrible, and could feel WWE losing its excitement. Well, I wasn't here in 2005, so I was wondering how you felt when Jericho left the WWE. What?! Losing to the biggest draw and future of the company to go out on a sabbatical is far from an awful way to go.

Jericho had lost his spark I think, no decent storylines and he was a little out of shape too imo... But he will be fresh and up for it when he is bak!

I wasn't that bothered at the time, because I didn't really understand he was leaving for good, I just thought it was so he could tour with Fozzy. He should have had a much better send off than that for it to have been his last Match.

I didn't know if he was going to Smackdown! or what. I am a big Jericho fan and when it was actually confirmed that he was done, I thought, he better not go to TNA. And then I thought I really hope I see him in WWE again

Not only did Jericho leave the company, but he lost to Cena in his last match. What an awful way to go out. I felt terrible, and could feel WWE losing its excitement. Well, I wasn't here in 2005, so I was wondering how you felt when Jericho left the WWE. I think it's probably the best way he could have gone out. He put someone over who has a bright future in the company and was incredibly selfless in doing so. That's why people like the Rock and Mick Foley are held in such high standards; they go out of their way to make their opponent look good. Watch the Rock take on Brock Lesnar at Summerslam; that match was the turning point for Lesnar to turn him into a believable main eventer, and it sure wasn't just because he won the belt. And Foley turned Orton into a credible main eventer through their feud too. While Jericho putting Cena over isn't quite the same, it's still better than having a guy who's leaving beat the main guy in the company. It would have served no purpose. Anyway, I wasn't watching WWE that much anymore at that point so it didn't bother me that much.
