Yesterday, the night of October 30th/early morning Halloween was my best(female) friend's birthday...She is a bartender/dancer at a vast amount of juice bars and strip clubs...So she brings me out to Sue's Rendezvous in Mount Vernon, NY to celebrate(I'm from Jersey), and after she and her friend get a birthday shoutout and a good amount of free drinks, things calm down and we were placed in the VIP section off to the side...Radio personality 'Ed Lover' was judging a Halloween costume contest, but there was no real big Hoopla for such a big holiday evening...Next thing I know, I see someone hitting on my friend's very petite Indian friend, and I look over to see that it's none other than the freakishly huge "WORLD'S STRONGEST MAN" Mark Henry...Apparently it makes sense since the ECW/SD tapings were not too far away at Nassau Coliseum, so I guess he was there celebrating his monster mash victory from earlier in the night...Anyways- the dude is freaking GARGANTUAN...I shook his hand and his palm alone engulfed my forearm...Pretty nice guy considering that he was trying to get his Sexual Chocolate on while people were pointing and acknowledging who he was...His back is the size of a billboard, and when we left at 4 AM, he was pulling away also in his Chrysler 300(not as nice a ride as I would expect for a pro athlete), and he honked at us specifically a few times before leaving...I am in no way a fan of the guy, and was not awe-struck, but just found it completely random and kind of funny to meet a pro wrestler in such an odd situation...
Five years ago or so I attended a Smackdown! at Nassau, and the next morning met a bunch of wrestlers who stayed at the Marriott across the street...Dean Malenko while eating his breakfast...Perry Saturn while checking out...Eddie Guerrero(while still alive and in the R4dicalz days) AMAZINGLY hung over...Chris Benoit(eerie now that I think of it) with a huge black eye and a very grumpy disposition(it was early morning and he was roughed up by X-Pac)...and Rikishi and Grandmaster Sexay!(Who stole my hairstyle at the time, changing it the following month to duplicate mine)...Just thought that this strip club situation was alot more fortuitous...Anyone else have similar experiences where they COMPLETELY unexpectedly met one of their favorite Superstars?

Eddie Guerrero(while still alive and in the R4dicalz days)
Meeting Mark Henry is cool and whatnot, but this quote takes the cake for me. I'm glad you met Eddie Guerrero when he was still alive and not, you know, dead.

Yeah Mark Henry is a frequent guest at strip clubs, in a wwe book he said he goes to one on the road every night basically.
Thats awesome you got to meet him, sounds cool.

I would've not even acknowledged Mark Henry if I saw him somewhere.

I met Mark Henry at an autograph signing a few years ago, he seemed kind of fake a little bit with his smiling, but that's no real reason to complain. He came off as a nice guy, quiet, but nice.
My Dad saw Test, who was a dick, in the airport. Other than that, no random sightings. That's pretty sweet though that you saw him in a strip club. I'm definitely going to think about hitting one up after Survivor Series now.

Yeah, I wish it was someone slightly more talented or more to my favor than Mark Henry...But you deal with what you're dealt...It wasn't the highlight of my night, anyway- it doesn't make sense to go to a strip club and blow hundreds of dollars, but it makes even less sense to go to one hoping to meet male athletes...I would've marked if it was Helms, and 'made it rain' if it was Mickie James...Pacman knows the deal...

on New Year's Eve of '05 I met Luther Reigns @ an airport in Austin. The guy was really awesome and nice and was actually smaller than I would have thought. his hands were massive though.
after the HOF ceremony in LA, my buddy and I ran into Doug Basham and Gail Kim at an In and Out Burger. He was cool but she was a bitch. she has ugly feet too. Basham was a lot bigger than expected and is solid as a brick house.

I met Carlito at a Hooters in Feb. after a House Show. Nice guy, took a picture with me. It was his birthday (I think) because Candice, Victoria, and other friends walked in with gifts and I think they were given to him.

Met Mick Foley in the parking lot of Stop and Shop, he was buying BBQ char coal. He went to the same HS as me and still lives in the area so its not THAT weird, but still was funny. He actually gave me a copy of Have A Nice Day from his trunk and signed it.

Probably the oddest of all, around WM22 I saw Snitsky walk out of NORDSTROMS with a Nordstroms' bag. Funny how no one cared about him but aprox. 15 girls were stalking Johnny Nitro around the whole ing mall.
