For those of us who have a hard time...
Watching wrestling these days. I've seen a ton of posts on this and although I'm one of the disgruntled fans I just wanted to say we need to try to see the positive in all this mess and realize that the industry will improve because it has to. In order for it to grow and survive it won't continue on like it has and with all the deaths and steroid issues I have hope good changes are on the way.
I've also realized that while so many of us can't stand either of the "big" two promotions right now there are still people who enjoy what's going on and it's enough to keep them on tv and we still see people marking out so maybe we need to take more of a "to each his own" type of attitude. So coming on these boards and bashing the product is a waste of time.
That being said I'm going to list what I see as good things for the WWE right now and you can agree or disagree, but I'm not going to rehash all the negatives because some of you see these as positives.
1. Jeff Hardy - I don't even really personally care for the guy, but when he comes out the whole arena marks out. Why is this guy still toiling in mid card hell? He's been with the company forever, he straightened his life out, and he's easily the most over guy on the roster. Get him some promo lessons, get him a manager, do something. He should be in some sort of main event picture.
2. Edge, Kennedy, Rey, Cena (ugh!), Undertaker, Michaels, HHH, Umaga, Orton - These guys are all good enough to keep the main event scene interesting yet the writers can't seem to get it together. Obviously there's some injuries in here, but what a great mix of young and old talent.
3. Beth Phoenix - This is what wwe always wanted Chyna to be I think. She's not "diva" material, but she's muscular decently attractive and talented. Imagine her vs. Kong in TNA.
4. Y2J - I think we forget just how gold this guy is and what a tremendous personality he has. And it seems as if he's coming back. Can't wait.
Feel free to add your positives to this list I'm sure I'm missing a few.
