Well, for the past 8 months I havent witnessed any PPV (since WM23), and I was hoping to buy one of the big 4. I was in Florida for SS, so now Im narrowed down to Survivor Series or the Royal Rumble. Sadly, my mom said I can only have one. I think that Survivor Series will be an awesome PPV, but I LOVE the Royal Rumble. So should I buy Survivor Series, or should I buy Royal Rumble? P.S.- I am leaning towards Royal Rumble, because that will leave my mom happy and with $40 that she can use to buy me stuff for Christmas.

I wouldn't use the word "trick" but I'd try to get both.

SS. But thats just my opinon. I would rather be able to see the HBK/Orton and 10 man match then the 30 man RR.

I always buy Royal Rumble no matter what. Royal Rumble This years Survior Series is a total disappointment. It looks worse then this years Summerslam.

Royal Rumble is always exciting for the Rumble match itself, so that is the obvious pick.
Survivor Series is just like any other ppv nowadays; in other words, bad. Back in the day, SVS was focused on the elimination-style tag matches with all of the WWF roster being involved. Ever since 99/00, WWF/E has cut down on the tag matches for regular storylines, in essence, taking away what was great about Survivor Series to begin with.
Imagine the Royal Rumble having no Rumble match, the King of the Ring having no tournament; that's what Survivor Series is now to me, and I doubt this year's ppv will be much better than recent years. That's why I'd go with the Rumble, since there is always a guaranteed surprise of who will be the winner.

I refuse to buy either but if I had to pick Survivor Series because the main event won't be an hour long battle royal that always has a wrestler who has played a santanic character except for three years. Where as Survivor Series usually has more matches meaning less of Santanic Characters PPV time. However other than Wrestlemania I would say Summerslam.
I say wait and see what Armageddon has. Or buy both on DVD.

Royal Rumble...
Why? . Chris Jericho will be back . You get like 3 main event matches, plus the historic Royal Rumble match . Once Survivor Series is over and you see how great Raw will be Monday night once Edge and Y2J are back, you'll be like "ugh.. Rumble's gonna be great. I wish I had waited to order that instead."
Just get one of videos that we cant talk about on here. You know..

Royal Rumble, mostly for the Rumble match itself. I haven't enjoyed a Survivor Series since 2003.

Royal Rumble definitely. I think people are going to wind up disappointed with Surivor Series. Last year's card was better than this year's and that event wound up being pretty underwhelming.
