Tombstone shouldn't be replaced for it.

multiple finishers are pretty sweet... it creates for more finishes, and more importantly, more false finishes. guys should have like 3 finishers in my book, they shouldnt have to just rely on one. keep it, as a finisher... and just use it in lesser matches, like on smackdown and crap. he shouldnt win a big ppv match, and especially a world title match with it, but it will create a false finish if he locks it on in a big match, and the guy can get to the ropes or some such.

I'd say make it his 'super' finisher. Like in Japan, many of the guys have finishers they bust out once in a blue moon, ie Kobashi's burning hammer, Misawa's Tiger Driver '91. They only bust those out in dire situations, I think the triangle choke would be perfect for Taker's super finisher in that sense.

It's an effective move, and he should use it, just not as a finisher

he used it in his match against Angle at NWO I think. I don't remember if it was that match or not, but I seem to remember a situation where he had the triangle choke locked in, got pinned, and there was a tie. Anyway, it's a decent move, but the only problem with it is that it's a choke, which means, by definition, he can only use it in no-DQ matches like tonight. It's like Jillian Hall's Booby Trap...it looks nice, and it'll cut off your breathing, but it's essentially impractical. yeah it was angle/taker nwo 06...taker had the choke applied on angle but his shoulders were down, or kurt reverseed it or something, and he retained. it was an odd but spectacular finish to a great match. damn i need to see that PPV again.

It looks like they will probably try and push the Triangle Choke. For me personally, it doesn't work with Undertaker's Gimmick, but then again, all of his gimmick seems to be forgotten these days as soon as he enters the ring for a Match, and just looks like a normal wrestler.
If you compare his Ring moves to the way he was 12 odd years ago, there's a big difference in character.

He used the triangle choke on Kurt Angle at No Way out 2006, but yeah, he should use it, but not as a finisher.

It seem that, 2 weeks ago, Undertaker unvieled a new "finisher"- the triangle choke. Now, WWE.com is pushing it as if it is his new finisher. Do you like this? I say NO! Its an arkward choke, and it isn't very cool. He can use it, but stick with the chokeslam and tombstone. Hes been doing it forever. Hes won a lot of matches with it before this actually.

He used it on Angle at No Way Out 2 years ago and Angle flipped over and pinned him. But yeah it's an ok move, but not good as a finisher. He wont keep it, he used to use a dragon sleeper as a finisher for a few weeks and then went back to the Last Ride.

It's an actual wrestling move, it will never be his finisher.

Wow, I didn't know the move was used in TWO matches against Angle. Umm..isn't that kind of uncreative. They ripped off the finish from 2002, only with the roles reversed pretty much..

He should use Last Ride as finisher, and Tombstone Piledriver as 2nd finisher, imo.

The people who say it isn't believable and that a chokeslam is more realistic are funny. Haha. The triangle choke is a legit choke and probably one of the hardest to get out of. I think he should keep it but not use it as much.

Actually it was Angle who had the Triangle Choke locked on, and Angle's shoulders that touched the mat for the 3-count. That match wasn't an No Way Out or any PPV for that matter. It was an Undisputed Title match between Taker & Kurt shortly before Vengeance 2002. I remember this because it was during my favorite title reign ever. I do remember Taker using the move at No Way Out 2003 though to put away Show. what the hell are you talking about? It DID happen at NWO 2006

I like the move and thinks it suits Taker, its just he should stick to his signatures as his finishers and not include this as one of them.
