Was WWE/WWF better when it was NOT in HD? I think it was better when it was not in HD. It just had a way better feel to it and more backstage stuff not as much stupid crap.

It's not because of HD, but I too think WWE’s current product is a bit too polished or cartoony… it’s hard to put my finger on it in words but WWE’s shows (between the camera, graphics, arena set-up, and content) lack the competitive, legit atmosphere that the Attitude era on into 2002 seemed to have. WWE shows don’t feel like wrestling shows like they did before. They feel like variety shows with wrestling… I guess that’s what’ll happen when you market a wrestling show towards families and children.

I've noticed thats one of the things that REALLY turns me off to WWE anymore, is how annoying they've gotten with the way its filmed. Like after every funny moment, they show crowd reactions. Or every "serious dramatic" moment, gotta show the people with their jaws dropped. Its very very corny...And I wish they'd realize it, cause anymore, and especially after last night, I'm on my last days with watching. Because of that, and many, many other reasons.

Even though everything you've said is now both null and void, I can see a huge difference watching football in HD as opposed to... regular. Hell, you can count the turf blades...
With that said, I don't see how WWE being broadcasted in HD would look worse. Not that you'd actually want to see the sweat on their faces.

It is in HD. But on USA it's not presented in HD. With Comcast, it comes on East Coast time in HD on channel 758.

He seems to think he knows what the fans like to see
