Clearly there will be no match, we all know the reasons. But in the very LEAST... a treat for the fans... Do you want to see Hogan and Austin go face to face in the ring next week?
As I said, there won't be a match, but would you AT LEAT want to see them go face to face?
The crowd would go NUTS!!!

Vince will come out and announce himself as RAW's greatest wrestler. One by one Hogan, Austin, Foley, The Undertaker, Cena, Triple H , HBK, Y2J, and maybe even the Rock (doubtful) will come out speak their mind on it, and all beat the crap out of Vince.

i just read that Jimmy Hart is trying to convince Hogan to be a part of Wrestlemania 24 ... They are hoping that it will help boost the whole revival of American Gladiators thing.. I was thinking that Hogan v Austin may not be entirely out of the question... thing is with the way that hogan moves in the ring i hardly think austin has anything to worry about as far as getting hurt im pretty sure his knees and neck would hold up just fine in a match with hogan...and it's definitely a match that many many people would pay big money to see... i hope hogan and austin face off next week : )

No, It might lead to them in a match and Hogan can't wrestle and Austin is too out of ring shape to carry him. I am not a fan of either.

Plain and simple yes. I'm looking forward to it to see how it all goes. Should be interesting.

You wanna know what? With Hulk Hogan's wife divorcing him and taking all of his money at the same time he's being sued for a FORTUNE by the family of the kid that Nick Hogan turned into a vegtable....I wouldn't be surprised if Hulk Hogan is desperate for money and might actually come back and do the Austin/Hogan program and actually do the job for Austin.
All these years Hulk said he's not going to do it unless he gets paid exactly what he wants AND if he wins.....now Hulk has no leverage, he can't politic his way to getting over anymore, whats he going to do? Run to TNA and make even LESS?
McMahon has Hogan over a barrel now and IF Hogan comes back to WWE on a regular basis the first thing I would make Hogan do is job to Shawn Michaels as payback for being a prick after SummerSlam 2005 and never doing the rematch with HBK where Hogan was supposed to LOSE.

Lorenzo, at times I love you... but you sir should re-name your self, captain obvious.
If any one believes Hogan is coming back out side of cash up front, you honestly haven't seen Hogan work.

You know, all of you seem to think that the divorce is ruining Hogan... anyone thought that maybe, JUST MAYBE, it's all staged?
Hogan is being sued by the parents of Nick's victim, right? Well, let's do some math:
If Hogan is worth $100 million (just as an example), the lawsuit would target THAT amount. If he is divorced, let's say that leaves him with only $50 million. Now the lawsuit can only target the $50 million, depending on who claims Nick as he is only 17.
Hogan is a smart man and he knows how to make things work. He gives half the money to Linda and in return claims Nick. Now only half his fortune can be targeted. Once the whole thing blows over, he and Linda will just get back together.
Think about it, how convinient that the divorce is happening right after the proposal of a lawsuit.

yeah, I hope that there is a face-off between the two. The crowd will go nuts! A Stunner to Hogan or a small fight wouldn't be so bad.

Again, they DON'T need a match! A faceoff, a couple of punches traded... that's all. A stunner on Hogan and a legdrop to Austin... That's all we ask for. ;D Nobody has to win.
This is how I see this working as a good segment:
Vince comes out to announce the "Greastest RW supersar", and it turns out to be himself. Austin walks out, but before he could do anything, Vince tells him "Oh no, no more stunners" and calls out Khali. Austin gives Khalie the finger and stunns Vince. Khali pummels on Austin. Hogan comes out to help, slams Khali (BIG POP!!!) Austin and Hogan go face to face. Austin gives him a beer and then a Stunner (BIG POP!!!). Hogan goes down while Austin salutes the crowd but then pops back up in a Hulk-up! Hogan gives him 3 punches and goes for the boot but Austin slides out of the ring. Austin leaves the ring giving Hogan the finger. Hogan poses.

Hogan would walk out based on that alone and whore himself out to everything short of birthday parties before he comes back to be crapped on like that

A face off would be unreal, but I would want it to be unclear that it's going to happen. For instance, I wouldn't want Hogan to be in the ring doing a speech, and Austin come out, leading to a face off.
I'd much prefer Hogan and Austin to run down during a Match and help clear house, before turning round to each other realising they are both the only men in the ring, and have a huge face off.
This is there last chance to finally do a Hogan/Austin face off.

Didn't they have a match/face off during the Steve Austin vs Nwo storyline?.
