does he strike anyone else as "Help! Im in need of money badly!"
to say this guy used to brag about being the biggest penny pincher ever, he sure does come back a lot often, trying to worsen his nostalgia

As a huge fan it annoys me to see him come back to job to someone mabye he is in need of money, after all he's selling his stuff on ebay. Also, did anyone notice on RAW that the hardcore legend has straightened his hair?

I don't know what it is with him. He does seem to come back way too often for a retired wrestler and not often enough to be a regular. I don't get it.

Who knows if this is true, but recently I remember reading that he is under a contract still which has a number of appearances built into it.
I think I might have read that in his Hardcore diaries.

He's under a contract where he has to do two PPV dates a year, and the TV shows to build up to those dates...or sommat like that.

I don't really watch WWE anymore, but it's nice to see Foley even if he doesn't do much. The only time I was disappointed was when he took part in the lackluster 5-man match at Vengeance and was pinned by Cena. If he's going to wrestle, I expect a good performance.

Either that or he returns because he loves performing.
I'm going to lock in the latter.
I hate the fact that every time somebody returns for a week or so they're instantly labeled as 'wanting the money.' Why can't it be that they want to come back and perform infront of a live crowd, something you can't experience many places in the world?

yeah, i doubt foley's doing it for the money.
didn't he want a full-time role on raw a few months back, but mcmahon and trips thought the crowd didn't react to him as much as they used to?

He makes sporadic appearances. If we're going by that then Hulk returns just because he loves being in front the crowd so therefore you dont have to pay him any money. No. Foley has basically turned into something he didn't and that's being Terry Funk. Retired? No way
