If Flair is in the '08 Rumble match, and doesn't win, will he be fired? I doubt they'll put him in the match, or they simply won't count the Rumble match as a "if you lose, you're fired" type of match (like his singles matches), but it is an interesting thought.

I'm pretty sure they've said it only applies to singles matches.

^Yeah I'm pretty sure that's the stipulation. I'm kinda doubting that he will be in the actual Royal Rumble match anyway.

At this point, I'd actually pick Flair to win it. He'll probably get one more world title reign before he retires.

He should win it. I don't understand why they're worried about Ric Flair going over everyone. It's Ric Flair for  's sake. Having him go over the top stars -- or anyone in the WWE for that matter -- won't make anyone look weak. |

The win or retire angle only applies to single matches, hence why none of it was mentioned during Evolution vs. Rated RKO and Umaga at RAW XV

Flair might win the Rumble... I think this is the final year for him and McMahon might grant him one last Title Reign it is very wishful thinking, but i would love one last run for him. they could play off his losses earlier in the year to Vince telling him if he won, he was fired, extending the vince is going crazy angle that started in Buffalo |

It was said at the 15th anneversary show that it only applied to singles matches, becuase he was in the 6 man tag team match.
