A Texas Bull Rope match? I never saw one and dont really know the rules of it or how someone wins the match. Just in general, How does the match work? Thanks.

Well, they are tied up by their wrist to the bullrope and they basically have to drag their opponent around the ring and touch all 4 of the top turnbuckles in succession, without interruption and then they win the match.

Ok so just say it's Dusty Rhodes vs JBL. Dusty would have to touch all 4 turnbuckles with his hand to win the match? Am I correct? Thanks for the help.

Unfortunately, the last Bullrope match was just a pinfall/submission match I think.

Yes but if he touches 3 of them and then gets backdropped, makes a comeback and touches the 4th it wouldn't count as he would have to do the other 3 again as he was interrupted.

^ Yeah, I do believe you are correct. Although, the bullrope match between Dusty and Orton a while back had slightly different rules I believe. It was just basically a no-holds-barred match with a bullrope involved. Yeah, I just watched the Great American Bash DVD and Orton won by pinfall when he clobbered Dusty with the cowbell on the rope.
