I noticed the racial spilt too at Smackdown in Cleveland last Friday (Tuesday). There were a lot of minority fans around me who loved mayweather but a lot of the white people either had no idea who he was or knew him from dancing with the stars. As for the guy from england complaining about Americans not liking boxing, why don't you just accept that fact that we have different cultures. Do you see us complaining about the lack of popuarity of American footballin your country? no, because I could care less what the english find entertaining. I think the biggest thing we all hate about this angle is that they are going to have Mayweather win ortherwise why would he do it? I knw its sripted and all that, but they do need to maintain a certain reality to it, as there is no way Mayweather would every come close to beating the big show. It is not even conceivable as something that could ever happen and so when it does happen it just makes wrestlign seem even more make. I know its fake, but you don't need to remind me with stupid storylines. Its like Mysterio being champion, he's billed as 165 (even though that meatball has to be at least 180-190) your not going to overcome a 80lb difference against "top-level" wrestlers in reality. Dude, totally different, there was a time where Boxing was the biggest thing in the States, American Football has never been big over here, they are not comparable. he was just stating that the cultures are different. the popularity of boxing died down in the 90's in america. We are now entertained by things like UFC.

Like I've said in the past, and is a completly logical statement... he's such a good fighter he doesn't need to be a great talker as well. Everyone expects him to be a second coming of Muhammed Ali.

I enjoyed last night's segment. I thought it saved the angle and picked it up from No Way Out. Mayweather is a cocky sob. He's undefeated and a good fighter. I don't mind it though. He reminds me of Mason The Line Dixon in Rocky Balboa.

Boxing has NEVER been a big thing here. It has ALWAYS fallen behind sports like football, baseball and basketball.

Boxing was HUGE at one time in the US. In his prime, everyone was glued to the radio to hear Ali matches or Joe Louis matches. At one time in the US, boxing was THE sport.

4.6 million is still way too much for this jack@$$. If they did indeed spend 20 million for Mushmouth, I sincerely hope they get a returm on their investment. from what ESPN has said it is 4.6 million only not 20 million. Agreed! like I said, theres guys on the roster who will never make a million in their whole career, well not at 1 time anyways. It`s too much for a non wrestler appearence even he is being paid from No Way till Mania
