For weeks we've been hearing that Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff are on the verge of launching a new celebriy pro wrestling TV project. We can now confirm that the series has been picked up by cable TV channel CMT and has a name - "Hulk Hogan's Celebrity Wrestling."
The first season will be 8 episodes and then a live 2-hour finale. Filming will begin for the series around June or July in the Los Angeles area. The casting search has begun for "adventurous celebrities" that will train for pro wrestling and can settle their scores in the ring.
No word yet on when the series will debut, but based on the filming schedule, it seems like a fall debut makes sense. Hulk Hogan and Bischoff-Hervey Productions are listed as producers for the series.

It's just a rip off of the crapty ITV Celebrity Wrestling, back in 2005.
Why was Hogan saying he was starting a new show to rival with WWE, and make new stars. How the hell do you do with a game show?
The man has lost it.

I'll check it out. I'll hate it - but I'll look anyway.

Hogan is intellectually- disabled, Bischoff could venture out on his own and start a wrestling company that would be a rival to WWE, just hook back up with Time Warner and there's the cash cow.

I wonder how long this will last. I wont be suprised if it folds after the first season. Any wrestling on a music netowork fails.
