I think that for an event like Wrestlemania there shouldnt be any/very few backstage skits going on.
The fact that you have backstage skits on raw each week which are similar to those that take place at wrestlemania sort of takes away the unique feel of wrestlemania to me.

I enjoy the backstage "skits" at 'Mania.
Mostly they have a "legen" involved in them.
They're kind of cool, IMO.

I agree that having The Fink as the main event announcer makes WM feel like WM. It's insulting to watch WWE bring in guest announcers like Buffer when they are sitting on THE VOICE OF WWE in The Fink. When I was a kid, it gave me chills to hear him say
THE WINNER OF THE BOUT, AND THE NEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWW, WORLD WRESTLING FEDERATION CHAMPION...............
The Fink should be the announcer on the 4 major PPV's every year.
Oh, and to the author of this thread. The word is SPOILED! There is no such word as "spoilt".

I don't even remember any from last years Mania, so I guess it didn't bother me or really excite me. Last year all the reject wrestlers were dancing with extreme expose. |

I have to disagree. The backstage promos and vignettes that usually take place are special one offs. They give it a good feel.

What's ruining WrestleMania is holding it in venues that house 80,000 people year after year (especially in years like this one where they can't even sell it out). Do it for the bigger ones, or every now and then. WrestleMania XX being at MSG was cool. Now WM only feels special because of the elaborateness of the stages and the enormity of the crowds - not because the quality of the matches/feuds, etc.
Like someone mentioned, WWE needs Finkel back. Get Garcia out of there.
The repeating of matches sucks, too. I mean, do we need a Money in the Bank every single year? It's getting like those TLC matches; they're good matches full of cool spots, but they're doing it way too much. And this one has boring people in it.
The quality of the feuds is lacking, too. Does anybody honestly suspect Edge to top the Undertaker? When was his last true threat? Orton? Taker's feuds suck, and while it's nice to see him feuding with better talent like Batista and Edge (as opposed to Mark Henry and A-Train... ugh). Compare HHH/Cena/Orton to Hogan and Warrior, or Michaels/Hart. The feuds don't seem real, we know who's gonna win, etc. WM is seriously lacking. I haven't been excited about one since XX.

No, what's ruining it every year is you idiots. Bitching about absolutely everything. Finkle isn't there, so predictable, too mant spot fests, every match is horrible, it's at too big a venue, backstage promos, no bret hart. Jesus. Just shut up.
