It doesn't surprise me, especially considering how their "adult" fanbase does nothing but bitch an moan anyways. Kids like everything, that's why Disney sequels, Sunny Delight, and Mountain Dew sell so well. www.wwekids.com/ And holy ****, is that StarMan from NES Pro Wrestling?

OH MY GOD! WWE IS MARKETING TO ANOTHER MARKET! BOOO-URNS!! Holy crap. God forbid the WWE try to reach out to another age group. It will not affect anything you see on TV, so why is everyone bitching?

I hate kids who think wrestling is real...I'm glad I'm not one anymore.
I'm sticking to the normal website.

This doesn't surprise me considering the only people that WWE appeals to are kids and the ones that have the minds of them. The majority of this board began watching wrestling in either the early-90's or the mid-90's (with a smaller percent starting in the late-80's). If you began watching in either the late-80's/early-90's, it was the over-the-top characters and gimmicks that appealed to you. In other words, the "kiddy" stuff initially sparked your interest. If you started during the Attitude Era, it was the crazy/controversial characters and funny skits that made you a fan. This "mature" viewing made it cool to watch the shows. All WWE is trying to do here is cross-breed the two genres. The major programming will still have its share of adult-oriented material, but at the same time they will have other avenues more fitted for the elementary audience. People are suck smarks its dumb. Just watch whatever you want without complaining. I started watching during the awesomely-bad Lex Express run. I enjoyed the crazy gimmicks of the time. I enjoyed the great matches that guys like Bret, Shawn, Owen, and Taker put on during that span. I enjoyed the unpredictability of the Attitude Era the whole time. Hell, I'm man enough to admit that I highly enjoyed the original Doink character. Don't criticize WWE for trying to target a more "kid-friendly" audience because you have to remember, the majority of us started when we were just kids as well.

I don't get how this is a problem. It won't change what's on RAW, Smackdown, and ECW.
They're just coming out with a kids magazine.

TNA could capitolise by reverting to a ECW like Attitude era show. Let the kids have their Cartoons, let the adults have their TNA.

Hmm.... Probably would not watch it, but it does make sence. These kids are the fans of tomorrow.

Isn't the point of Smackdown being when/where it is to use the "younger demographic"? Think about it. You look at what we see on RAW and then on Smackdown then of course the time frame and day is more suitable for kids. Hoestly, as long as it doesn't come over to RAW/ECW I'm fine with it honestly. I'll watch the cartoon if Kennedy's in it (or MVP)

Which takes up about 2% of WWE programming a year. I don't like stupid angles that make no sense either. I.E Vince/Hornswoggle. Now your up to 87% of WWE programming.

The cartoon will be great for wrestlecrap humor. But I can't say that I'm too worried. I basically don't even watch WWE anymore, seeing as they have already alienated the attitude fan base.

Hitman, you are ing intellectually- disabled. All they are doing is coming out with a new kids version of the WWE Magazine. They aren't changing the product at all. And they already had a cartoon in the 80's. Hulk Hogan's Rockin' Wrestlin' or something like that. That tall guy with the weird voice from Everyone Loves Raymond was the voice of Hogan. Hilarious.

Whats wrong about that? They are trying to get a younger fan base. Also, It will have no affect on anything in WWE. Just stop complaining, it is business.

Hitman, you are ing idiot. Kids make WWE money. Look at the next Raw, Smackdown, ECW. Half, maybe even more, of the audience are under 16. Kids buy the John Cena, Triple H, and Taker merchandise. Maybe kid's mom's wont let them read WWE magazine when Ashley or Maria are half naked on the cover or Diva's are washing cars in bikini's on the inside. WWE will make MORE money if everything, because kids will be begging their parents for this. And since it is clean and geared towards kids, and parents see this, they will buy them more wrestling stuff. WWE doesnt direct everything towards adults. If you want more adult-orientated wrestling, go watch Indy wrestling. Smackdown is on local networks so it can be FAMILY orientated.
