It's much better than alot of crap that's posted here nowadays. And for a first it shows that you have a strong graphical future ahead of you. You seem to have grasped the basics - that cut, however, could be slightly smoother, especially around the cheekbone area.

Dude, it's better than the whole non-design board.

All things considered, the cuts are pretty nice. I don't know whether Shuya's referring to the shape of the cheekbone or the roughness of the edge, but if he's referring to the shape, then he didn't do anything wrong as the guy's cheekbones are that bony.
I love the text, especially how you choose to use it from the part in the trailer where the planet's a part of the words.
You know, it's kinda weird, because the background is unbelievably simple, well it is just a screenshot, but the way it was laid out makes it work. The fact that the flames and Geth are behind the text makes your eyes go immediately from Col. Shepard to the text, which is, at least in my eyes, the way it should work.
And you get props for being one of the first newbies here to make a graphic that doesn't look like green, glowing, dog vomit.

The picutre, the background, and the text all have to do with the subject... You're already way better than a lot of people here.
