Well this kid in my class all ways says WoW could own Halo 3 any day. Game play wise and entertainment wise.
I know the two are completely different, which i tell him but hes a WoW addict in denial.

I can simplify that problem for ya:
WoW: About $80 for 6 months of one game
Halo 3 (Xbox Live): $50 for any game with online multiplayer
Case closed.

Halo 3, WoW is a repitive MMORPG that I see no point to when Runescape is basically the same and Runescape is free. Halo 3 is a fantastic online multiplayer game that doesn't really get boring.

World of Warcraft. They are hard to compare, but WoW, being an Adventure, beats out any shooter. There are infinite amounts of more stuff to do, then just going around shooting aliens.
But in my opinion, neither are that good anyway.

This is a intellectually- disabled comparison, the games aren't even remotely similar.

Seriously, these are just TOO different. There's really not a lot to compare. I think I'm overall more impressed with WOW just because it has an unbelievable amount of stuff to do in it.

I will have to say WoW as well. It is just immersive. The expansions are crazy as well. Where else can I fly around on a strange animal that in other universes does not exist. The best part of WoW is the online community. As was already stated they are entirely too different to compare. Might as well compare etch-a-sketch and photoshop. That makes as much sense.

Considering how I've played WoW and didn't find it fun nor did I find it entertaining, it certainly helps demonstrate the difference in value.

And anyone reading your original post would have known that how? They wouldn't, but they also wouldn't necessarily know that anyone who has answered one way or the other may not enjoy FPS's or MMORPGs, respective to their response. God forbid that a support for my opinion is the fact that you get a lot more bang for your buck on Halo 3/Xbox Live.

I'm just saying the question involved which is better dealing with "game play wise and entertainment wise." I honestly love both WoW and Halo 3. But personally I think WoW is better. There's so much to do in it, it's simply insane. Plus rewarded game play is addicting.
