I will come right off the bat and admit that I didn't read the whole review. I read bits and pieces of the paragraphs and then went to your bulletpoints. My only real complaint with what I saw were the bulletpoints, because, with gameplay at least, you give it an 8.7 and yet you mention nothing wrong in that section. However, that seems to be more of an issue with needing to quantify your opinion. Also, I don't know jack crap about boxing, but I'd imagine that they don't let you go down in weight class because you may either be too heavy for their class' requirements or if you're the world champion of the middleweights, you may be too much for the lightweights. I have this game on the 360 and I agree with you about this game being fantastic.

I mention later on that you can't move around in weight at will and that it isn't hard enough. In boxing, you can decide what weight class you want to be in at anytime. Just get yourself down to the required limit, and your set. Fight Night forces you to move up at THEIR pace, you have no say.

I went through and read the whole thing. You should proofread your work before publishing it since there were a few spelling errors. I think that your whole review fits the scores, but when you mention how the game is the best around but is an 8.2 it seems off.

The overall score is an 8.5. I averaged it and came up with (I think) an 8.48 and rounded up. Thanks for your comments, I really appreciate it.

Mildly off-topic....
Has anyone played this on 360 and PS3? If so, which version is better?

I won't ignore what you asked for, and I'll give you an answer. I own a PS3 and my best friend has a 360. I played it first on his 360 and just recently bought it for PS3. They're the exact same game except for the fact that PS3 has an exclusive game mode called Get in the Ring. Only graphical differences are that the sweat looks better on PS3, but there are some minor frame rate problems. The 360 version looks great, and the frame rate is fine.

I didn't comment on your review because I didn't read it. I don't read reviews of games I already own. I have it on the 360, but I had heard that it's much better on the PS3. What is the Get in the Ring feature, and would you recommend the PS3 version to someone who already has it for the 360? I can get the game for roughly $15 - $20. That's the only reason I am considering buying it again.

Read my ing review if you want to know what Get in the Ring is.

I'd say that the review is spot on, nothing amazing, but it's still one above average game. And it's the only game for the 360 I have all achievements on.
