Anything good about this game? I LOVE the Hitman series. My friend told me the game sucks but he always just goes by ratings on IGN and stuff. My mom got me all the wrong games for Christmas (I gave her a list of games I want from most wanted to least and she didnt know it was in that order so she got all the cheap ones) and were going to return them today and get the right ones. Is this game worth the money?

I didn't like it, but I'm not too big on the Hitman games.

I almost rented it to play over XBL, until I found out the co-op was only offline.

The reason why this game has low rating - gamestop - is because a bunch of crazy crap went on, and even (rumor) got someone fired from Gamestop (one of the top reviewers). The fan's backlashed against it, and pretty much, rated it as low as possible without even playing.
Just thought I'd throw that information out there. It's quite interesting.

I wasn't very fond of it. Graphic-wise it didn't meet my expectation. I did love the story line though.

I never tried it, but I am rather fond of a few of the Hitman games.

Instead of just saying whether I liked it or hated it, I'll give you an in-depth thought on my behalf of the game.
I rented it Christmas Day and played through it with my roomate. That game is a lot like Hitman meets Max Payne. The overall look of the game is really good, and the storyline is AMAZING. There are two seperate endings to the game, so it has a VERY small replay value. Overall, with BOTH endings, my roomate and I beat the game in probably about 7 hours. We obviously didn't play through the entire game the second type, but went to the last checkpoint.
The multiplayer was okay, but I didn't care for it too much. It is very original, but I don't see a lot of people getting into it honestly.
Like I said, the game itself, is okay....
Worth a buy? Hell no...
Worth a rent? Totally... you can beat it in one sitting actually.

It's quite interesting. i hate when people tell stories like that Uhh WHY did he get fired? The story goes: Jeff Gerstmann at Gamepot wrote a terrible review for Kane and Lynch, Gamespot was in the middle of a HUGE advertising spree with the game, which included skinning the site with Kane and Lynch ads. Advertisers were rumored to be unhappy and pressured for something to happen. A matter of days after the review went up, Gerstmann was fired. At one point it was even proven that after his release, the review was heavily edited.
