OH GOD! WHAT DID I DO? (Worst video game disasters) [/b] The above says it all. This could be a bad purchase, a system breaking, whatever, as long as it's a disaster revolving around video games. Mine has to be when I had some friends over for my birthday. We were all playing Goldeneye 007, eating pizza. In the middle of the good times, I got up to get a piece of pizza when it happened--I knocked my full cup of root beer onto my Nintendo 64. I quickly shut it off and unplugged it. As I was spewing some choice words I picked my N64 up to see root beer draining out of it, there was literally a stream running out onto the floor. I ran it out into the dining room and dried off the exterior and let it dry for a few days, and surprisingly it worked and still works to this day. Good times, good times.

i was walking up my stairs with my cousins Xbox like around 2003, shortly after it came out, and it slipped out my hand and fell down the stairs and i was so scared that i just broke a 300 dollar machine. i thought it would like explode to pieces since it was so heavy but nothing happened to it. everyone thought i fell down the stairs since it was so loud. but it still works

I've got an anger issue, so last gen, between me and my friend, we broke a GCN, Xbox and PS2 controller.

I've never broken anything. The biggest thing disaster related I've done is either the time my PS2 memory card got corrupted and I lost all of my .Hack data and I just started game three Or when I got to the Tyrant fight in Resident Evil Code Veronica at the end of the first disc with no where near enough in the realm of ammo.

I've never lost any equipment or games. However, I did buy a Jaguar on launch day. A 3DO as well, but I got a lot more out of my 3DO.
I blame Gamefan for my purchase of the Jaguar.

My biggest gaming disaster was easily back in the mid to late 90's. I was probably about 12 at the time and I kept all my gaming gear and things down in the basement where I'd play them. It was a HUGE basement. And on one unfortunate day it decided to rain uncontrollably outside and while I was asleep in my bedroom that night the basement flooded. A good portion of my gaming collection went through it. Some of them still work, others I had to toss out.

My little brother erasing my Banjo Kazooie saved games on the Nintendo 64. It isn't something huge, but it did suck.

When my PS2 memory card got corrupted when I was trying to put Fire Pro saves on it. I haven't played Fire Pro since because I've been so pissed and that happened back in December.

Me going to take a piss break and coming back to find out that in the two seconds I was gone, my brother managed to destroy my Sun Sword in Dark Cloud. If he wasn't my brother, punches would have been thrown.

When I accidently stepped on my N64 trying to unlock Ness in "Super Smash Bros.", causing it to freeze up.
