The new firmware update today, version 3.90, offers up Skype support starting today. Download it and chat with pretty much anybody. It costs money to call a phone line, and it's free to call other Skype users. Now you guys technically have a PlayStation Phone.

Remember, this only works with the newer PSP's. It will not work with the older PSP models

You have to use a headset. Some PSP games support voice chat.
