I think I'm the only one in the world who cares zilch about the whole Star Wars series.

I think I'm the only one in the world who cares zilch about the whole Star Wars series. I gave many a crap up until the new trilogy was released. The only Star Wars thing I care about now is getting to ride my precious Star Tours any time I go to Disney World.

I know I'm going out on a limb, but I predict that Obi Wan and Anakin will live, but Anakin becomes a villain with some sort of name like Darth Vader, then has a son named Luke who saves the galaxy.
... I guess my point is, these stories have the same issues that the new trilogy did; We know what's going to happen. It's like, we know when Obi Wan's in a battle that he's not going to die. So why even bother?

So why even bother? You bring up an interesting point Obviously Lucas made the new trilogies because Star Wars is HUUUUUUUUGE. But who made it huge? what made it huge? The old movies and the fans of the old movies. So Lucas makes these new movies essentially FOR the fans that live and breathe Star Wars, but somehow he markets it to half intellectually- disabled children who probably only cared because their parents made them (and what I plan on doing to my kids one day). so my point is: sure you may not care to watch prequels, but remember that they were basically made for those people that do

So why even bother? That was one reason why I didn't care for the prequels. The other reason was because he felt it was necessary to include the origins of 90% of the original trilogy characters. And did each new movie really need to introduce three new planets? Really? I should stop ranting now.

You know, if you dont want to see them you dont have to....pretty much hardcore star wars nuts are who will be interested....I'm only interested due to the fact this will be based on the actualy clone wars instead of the storyline around it all....so yea, i will prolly enjoy it
