As most on here know, I'm a massive Killers fan, and I think "Sawdust" is one of the best albums in recent years. It just has such a broad showing of talent, and the idea of the album as a whole was great. It doesn't even feel like a B-sides record at all when you listen to it. Songs like "Sweet Talk" could easily be massive hits.
I'd like to see some unbiased, as such, opinions on the record.

I had already heard most of the songs before I got it, but it's still a terrific album.
Favourites are;
Leave the Bourbon Sweet Talk Daddy's Eyes Romeo and Juliet (Abbey Road) Sam's Town (Abbey Road) Change Your Mind

I'm a big Killers fan too, but I don't think Sawdust is one of the best albums in years. Sam's Town is more deserving of that though.

Y'know, I've still yet to listen to that album. "Acquired it" as soon as it came out, though. Sam's Town was pretty great though. Quite the relistenable album.
Barrett can make up words whenever he damn well feels like!

To me, Sam's Town is better.

I've been really rockin' Tranquilize a lot recently... love that song. The disc is quality, I still think Hot Fuss is their best, but I'm diggin most of their music.

HOO HOO HOO! HOO HOO HOO HOO HOO! In the shadowplay acting out your own death knowing no more... with the assasins all grouped in four lines, dancing on the floor...
I like shadowplay off it, don't really know the others much

aren't they, or have they released their christmas album?
I heard they were, and even at the end of Sawdust they have a 'hidden' song that is christmas inspired, so I am just curious.

its a great album met all expectations, favourite songs have to be 'Move Away', 'Romeo & Juliet' and 'Leave the bourbon on the shelf'. I was never really a fan of Sams Town but it has grown on me as of late.

The hidden song is nothing to do with Christmas, it's from their fanclub Q&A sessions with their roadie called "The Captain". He plays Santa in the "Don't Shoot Me Santa" and "A Great Big Sled" videos.
