Hopefully a bomb goes off at the fest and terminates every last Juggalo.

Hasn't everyone gotten the routine down yet? Someone posts a topic about ICP or some related crap, and it becomes an ICP bash thread. It always happens, and I always love it.
I second Chinese D. Juggaloes are scum of the earth. Instead of taking in crap from ICP, I choose to listen to the likes of Alkaline Trio, Black Flag, The Clash, Feist, Bright Eyes, and Andrew Bird. I perfer music over crap.

ICP tried to come to my town twice. Every venue refused to have them.

They play him all the time on the radio station I listen to, that's how I got to like him. I think "Fiery Crash" is an awesome song, probably the best song ever about an airport.
There better not be any detractors to Feist. If someone doesn't agree that "Mushaboom" is catchy as hell, chances are I might not like you.

I can respect that response. At least it's not a generic "he sucks" response. I like Andrew Bird, you don't, and I'll leave you to that.

Wow, that has to be one of the best things I have ever heard, that and "Spanish Bombs" by The Clash.

but realistically, if you did, some might think you would pale in comparison to Beirut, kinda like how Shaun Morgan might be seen as trying to be Gavin Rossdale, who might be seen in turn as trying to be Kurt Cobain. C'mon, you can't deny that they all sound similar. And then there is the obvious "Liam Gallagher trying to be Paul McCartney" bit.

Andrew Bird just sounds like a tame unadventurous Zach Condon and a deaf Owen Pallett put into a blender.

Strange, I sometimes take offense to musicians I like being insulted, but even I can laugh at that. I admit, Bird's voice seems dull, I like his lyrics though. One thing I like in music is lyrics with substance.
Owen Pallett worked with Arcade Fire, so he gets a thumbs up from me.
I love how we all just hijacked this thread. It's awesome.

If you liked Owen in Arcade Fire check out Final Fantasy, or just watch his cover of Mariah Carey's song Fantasy on youtube....

I love it when people have one of those little things on stage that records and loops the sounds. I remember seeing KT Tunstall on Conan a short while before she got really big doing that, I though it was really cool just seeing them doing all that then and there. I do forever hate Mariah Carey though for ruining "Bringing on the Heartbreak" by Def Leppard. -CMD

I met Owen Pallett backstage at another band's concert, and like an idiot I said "Neon Bible rules!" or something fanboyish and he was like "But it's not out yet" and walked away. As if he didn't think people would download the Neon Bible leak. Oh well, he's still an amazing musician.
And I sang (screamed into the microphone with a dozen other fans) with Zach Condon in the crowd at a Beirut show!
