"The Believer" was a 2001 film, very similar to American History X but with the volume turned all the way up. This is about an Orthodox Jewish boy who then become a Neo-Nazi after growing hatred for his own people. I've only seen clips, but it is a very interesting film.
Anyone seen The Believer?

I can't find the damn thing. Ryan Gosling went from Mickey Mouse Club to neo-nazi.

I dig Romper Stomper more than The Believer. Russel Crowe was just...nuts.

...and to let you know, The Believer is based on the true story of Daniel Burros. A self-hating Jew, who killed himself, by shooting himself in the chest and head, when a reporter revealed his Jewish past.
Also, Ryan Gosling, indeed, was on both The Mickey Mouse Club and Young Hercules.

Yeah, after Lars and The Real Girl, i'm really interested to see what he does next, he's been in more films than I thought. Before, he was just some guy I saw quite often in films, in minor roles that didn't fit my taste. Though I must admit, a film I don't see as "good" or anything special, the film Murder By Numbers, I enjoy in some odd way. I don't usually like Law and Order episodes stretched into a film, like that one, but I don;t know exactley why I watch it, every time it's on. Possibly due to Michael Pitt being in it, I really dig his work.

I guessed the twist in Fragile about 20 minutes in (which doesn't happen often with me) but I've still watched it like three times because I love Gosling and Hopkins in it.
