WOW, look at the top five, but really it's a bad time for new release at the box office.

Be Kind, Rewind has to be one of the funniest movies I have ever seen in my life. I hope it is opened up in more theatres..
The top ten looks pretty crappy. I'm honestly not interested in seeing any of those movies.

Be Kind, Rewind will be on DVD by April...unfortunately. That 4.1$ million is barely gonna be enough to pay Jack Blacks Asian hooker fee on the set

Juno's been in the top 10 since it came out, woot woot.
I need to see BKR desperately.
Vantage Point is something I'd just rent for Whitaker.

That's a damn shame that Be Kind Rewind did worse than that f*cking breakdance movie. I hate you America. I really do

Meanwhile, that Step Up film isn't, it's out in mass release, or whatever the approporiate term is. Of course a film in wide release is going to make more money than one in limited release. -CMD

I think Vantage Point looks interesting and has a good cast but I am surprised it did that well.
As far as Jumper...I just don't get the appeal.
