In his prime (before reinventing the steel), Phil Anselmo had a great vocal range.

I actually like Sevenfold, unlike most people here(seemingly), but Shadows is probably the weakest link of the band... his voice fits most of the music, but his range is pretty bad. And yes, he kinda tries to come off as an Axl impersonator at times, and its annoying.
