I have been searching the web for days trying to find out were Hull house is located, what it is used for today, and some current pictures of the location. With the remake of the film being announced my NOTD obsession has been resurrected lol. Karma will be rewarded please help.

I think the featurette on the DVD may tell that. I watched it a while back but I can't remember if it did or not. I know the interiors that you see on film and the exterior you see on film are two totally different locations if I'm not mistaken. The interior may have been on a set. I can't remember. But I'm a big fan of the film. Pure 1980's cheesy horror greatness. You can't beat a movie where a girl shoves a tube of lipstick into her nipple! I actually love the sequels just as much. I like part 2 and 3 equally.

Oh...and here's the answer to your question thanks to a Night of the Demons fansite. The site hasn't been updated since 05 but it has some great info on it. I guess I was wrong about the interiors being on a set. www.geocities.com/notdcentral/hullhouse.htm"The house is a huge old rambling dump in the Adams District of Los Angeles. It is one of the best places I've ever shot - and I've worked in various capacities on at least two dozen productions. For a very low rent (25 grand for a few months) we had a completely self-contained property with 90% of our locations covered, plus office space, dressing rooms, etc." - Joe Augustyn, screenwriter

I get a hoot out of the nerdy chick dressed as the cat. Once she gets possessed she goes wild. It's hilarious. I also love the chain of events that lead them to enter Hull House with the botched robbery etc.

With that many years in between the films it's kind of hard to get access to stuff like that though. I just pretended like the home always looked however Angela wanted it to look. lol.

I've always heard that she appears at conventions at what not from time to time. She probably just doesn't respond to myspace messages.

its not like she gets flooded w/ messages tho. how do you think the remake will turn out I always try to go into remakes with no expectations. I'm kind of expecting them to try to make it more serious this time around. That may be the way to go though. If they did it like they did the original it may not work. It may just come across as ridiculous. It would just depend on how well they mixed the comedy and horror.

i completely agree. i hope this makes it to the theaters. They better leave angela alone tho. it wouldnt be the same with out her long black wedding dress. i also hope there is a similar character as stooge. STOOGE ROCKS!

What I'd really like to see would be that Angela is already in the home. Perhaps there could be a backstory told by a fire or something. But I'd prefer it if she wasn't part of the party before they entered the home if you get what I'm saying. I just like the thought of her already being there.

it'll just depend on how they go about it. Afterall, in the upcoming Friday the 13th remake Jason will already be present when the campers arrive, and he will be decked out in the hockey mask and ready to rock.
