I can't believe how much money Alvin and the Chipmunks have made Get ready for a string of theater and straight to video sequels The only thing positive I hope comes from this is that they release the 60's and the 80's animated series on DVD

Damn, I had no idea Alvin and the Chipmunks had made that much.
No surprise about Cloverfield, though. I knew it'd easily take #1.

I figured Cloverfield would do better than that, but impressive opening nonetheless.

Cloverfield is pretty much a given. I knew it was going to be a sucess. I saw Juno, it was a very good movie as well
