You honestly can't say it's unexpected the Spartans did well. Lots of Teenagers go to the movies to have something to do and just goof around with friends, which is what Meet The Spartans is perfect for.
I'm glad my theater didn't even get it in, because my little brother wanted to see it, and I sure as hell didn't want to go see it with him.

I say blame the MPAA, if kids could see Rated R America would be a much better place.
R should be 13 and up IMO
