Tuesday, Week 2, July 2008A lot of people have been wondering what the name of the next GCW event means. Since a lot of places are celebrating Independence day in their country this month GCW thought that Independence day would be a fitting name. However they needed to spice it up a bit. Since July was the month Julius Ceaser was killed GCW decided to translate Independence Day into Latin which is Libertas Dies.
GCW has finally found another tag team to help their tag division. Ever since breaking up The Caine Brothers & The A* Alliance GCW needed a new team and have finally found them. Expect them to make their debut at Libertas Dies.
Also at Libertas Dies, Jason Caine's team goes against Josh Caine's team. So far Josh Caine has Joey Beauchamp on his team. Announced today is Jason Caine has gotten Leo Price to join his team. Leo is happy to participate and cant wait to get his hands on Josh Caine & Joey Beauchamp. Expect the final two competitors to be announced in one weeks time.
Also big news for a returning superstar. It seems Rod the God Todd is almost 100%. His injury is almost completely fixed up and he is preparing for his return. Expect a return from him in a months time. However at this moment in time there is no idea on if he will be Rod The God Todd or be under a new gimmick.

Nice to see Jason Cain go over Leo Price and that Geena has held the womans title all this time. Nice to see The Canadian Blondes retain their titles again. Not to fund of Joey Beauchamp losing the title but I guess it had to happen some time. Josh Caine was a better choice than Steve Parker any way. Would of liked to see Johnny Stones to win his match with Scout, UK Dragon and JD Morgan but I know your pushing for Stones/Matravers for a later date. Adam retaining the world title is awesome, hope the only time he loses the belt is to Stones.
It was a well written show, Jay and I am looking forward to Libertas Dies. I hope Josh Caine's team beats Jason Caine's team.

Tuesday, Week 3, July 2008GCW has announced the full card for July's event Libertas Dies:- Single Match/No DQ- GCW World Title - Adam Matravers(C) VS Scout
Adam retained his World Title last month and defeated Guide thanks to interference from the new No.1 Contender Scout. Scout won a fatal four way and is now finally getting his chance to take his World Title back. Can Scout get the victory or will Adam continue his dominance?
- Single Match - GCW World Title No.1 Contender - Rolling Johnny Stones VS Guide
Another month and another No.1 Contender. This month Rolling Johnny Stones gets another chance facing the previous No.1 Contender Guide. Guide is red hot after Scout cost him the World Title last month but can he turn it around by becoming No.1 Contender again or will Rolling Johnny Stones finally get the win his been waiting for since his debut?
- Six Man Tag - GCW Pure Title No.1 Contender - Jason Caine & Leo Price & Walter Morgan VS Josh Caine & Joey Beauchamp & Steve Parker
Josh Caine is the new Pure Champion after pinning Steve Parker last month in the triple threat match. Jason Caine defeated Leo Price and is supposed to be No.1 Contender. Josh Caine has said however that Jason cannot face him since he is not the rightful contender. So instead they will have a Six Man Tag match where if Jason wins he gets his shot next month. Josh has convinced Joey Beauchamp & Steve Parker to join his team by offering them a title shot if they win. Can their team cooperate with so much hate between each other? Also Jason Caine has got the services of Leo Price & debuting superstar Walter Morgan. Can Jason & Leo finally get the revenge they have been seeking on the other team for months and how is the newest GCW superstar going to do in his debut in such a big match?
- Tag Team Match - GCW Tag Team Titles - Canadian Blondes(C) VS James Hernandez & Huey Cannonball
It seems The Canadian Blondes got the choose their opponents this month for reasons unknown at this time. The Canadian Blondes chose the newest members of The Canadian Blondes, James Hernandez & Huey Cannonball. Will The Canadian Blondes retain the titles by fighting or will James & Hernandez lay down for their team mates or can James & Huey come out of nowhere with a win over their partners?
- Single Match - GCW Womens Title - Geena The Warrior Princess(C) VS Miss Information
Geena is still Womens Champion. She successfully defeated Joanne Rodriguez last month. Now however comes the returning Miss Information who is the former champion and she wants her title back. Will Geena take Miss Information out already or can Miss Information stop her like Joanne and maybe take the title from her waist?
- Single Match - Toby Juan Kanobi VS Don Henderson

GCW Libertas DiesMedium Event Held at the Paddington Club in South UK, in front of 494 fans.Opening Match, Single Match – Toby Juan Kanobi VS Don HendersonThis was nothing but a 3 minute squash. Toby dominated most of the match. Don tried to fight back but come the final minute Toby stopped him and finished him off with the Kanobi Kutter. 1…2…3! Toby Juan Kanobi defeated Don Henderson in 3:48 by pinfall with a Kanobi Kutter.Rating: D Single Match – GCW Womens Title – Geena The Warrior Princess(C) VS Miss InformationThis was a nice match. Good proper Womens Match. Miss Information was the crowd favourite and got a great reaction. Geena dominated early on but Miss Info fought back and almost won with a rollup half way through. The match continued and Geena tried to hit Information with her Amazonian blade. Miss Information dodged it and tried to finish the match but Geena reversed and lifted Miss Information onto her shoulders. She then hit the Standing Amazon Plunge. 1…2…3! After the match Joanne Rodriguez came down to the ring and her and Miss Information stared down Geena who walked away. Geena The Warrior Princess defeated Miss Information in 6:33 by pinfall with an Amazon Plunge. Geena The Warrior Princess makes defence number 5 of her GCW Womens title.Rating: DTag Team Match – GCW Tag Team Titles – The Canadian Blondes(Oscar Golden & Flash Savage)(C) VS The Canadian Blondes(James Hernandez & Huey Cannonball)The fans hated The Canadian Blondes so much however the actual segment was not bad. In the beginning of the match Oscar told them that they better make this look convincing and so they started to play wrestle a little before Oscar slapped James which pissed him off a bit but he laughed it off. After a tiny bit Oscar told them to finish it off so James Hernandez let him hit the Golden Shower and pin. 1…2…3! The fans booed like crazy however The Canadian Blondes stood tall with happiness. Suddenly though from the back comes a fat guy and a big but muscular guy known as Jeremy Allen & Kevin Jones, Monkey Business. They get into the ring and begin to attack the Canadian Blondes. Jeremy takes out Huey & Flash Savage while Kevin takes out Oscar & James Hernandez. Once they are thrown from the ring Monkey Business hold the Tag Titles into the air. The Canadian Blondes defeated James Hernandez and Huey Cannonball when Oscar Golden defeated James Hernandez by pinfall with a Golden Shower. The Canadian Blondes make defence number 3 of their GCW Tag Team titles.Rating: D- Six Man Tag Match – GCW Pure Title No.1 Contender – Jason Caine/Leo Price/Walter Morgan VS Josh Caine/Joey Beauchamp/Steve ParkerThis was a really good match, loads of pure wrestling. Walter Morgan did great in his debut and the fans liked him. The fans were hyped to see any interaction between Jason & Josh Caine but it never happened till the end. For most of the match Joey & Steve was trying to out match the other to prove who is better. Leo tried to get his hands on Joey but Joey was too quick for him most of the time. The match went back and forth and seemed like anyone could win it. Suddenly Joey & Steve was fighting too much over a tag so Josh got pissed and tagged himself in. However he didn’t realize that Jason Caine would be coming into the ring. Jason pounded on him right away to stop him from getting away but Josh found a way out after a low blow. He then went for a superkick but Jason dodged it. Josh turned around to him and SMACK. Jason Caine hits Josh with his own superkick. Jason goes down for the pin, Leo & Walter jump into the ring to stop Joey & Steve. 1…2…3! Jason pins Josh in a great match. Afterwards Jason & his team look on from the ring celebrating as Josh is knocked out outside & Joey Beauchamp & Steve Parker are arguing again on their way to the back. Jason Caine, Leo Price and Walter Morgan defeated Josh Caine, Joey Beauchamp and Steve Parker in 6:44 when Jason Caine defeated Josh Caine by pinfall with a Superkick.Rating: D+Single Match – GCW World Title No.1 Contender – Rolling Johnny Stones VS GuideThis was a good match although some thought it should have been better. Both men did well, the fans was into it. Both men went all out right from the start and both seemed so determined to win. It was pretty much split down the middle from start to finish. Johnny Stones was probably the crowd favourite although Guide had only a little less then fans then him. In the end of the match Rolling Johnny Stones is standing on the top rope when Guide dropkicks him off and Johnny lands hard on the ropes. Guide goes to go on the attack but the ref stops him and checks on Johnny as he looks seriously injured. It looked like the ref was about to end the match. Suddenly from the back is the current No.1 Contender Scout. Scout gets into the ring and low blows Guide before hitting Guides move, The Guided Missile. The ref goes to turn around after hearing the impact but Scout gets out and hides at ringside so he isn’t caught. Suddenly Rolling Johnny Stones gets some life and crawls over to Guide and lays one arm over his chest. 1…2…3! After the match although the crowd seemed pissed with the ending they all cheered for the new No.1 Contender. Scout left to the back with a huge smile on his face. Rolling Johnny Stones defeated Guide in 8:37 by pinfall after interference from Scout Rating: D+
Main Event Single Match/No DQ – GCW World Title – Adam Matravers(C) VS Scout This was a really great match. Both men went all out. Adam was fan favourite and some fans still seemed pissed off with Scout after the ending to the last match. Scout finally gets his singles shot at the belt which he has been dying for, for ages. Weapons were brought out from the beginning with steel chairs, baseball bats, tables, steel steps and even the kitchen sink. Scout dominated early on until a fire extinguisher came into play and blinded Scout. Adam then went to work on Scouts legs by smashing it with a steel chair. Later on in the match Scout worked on Adams back after he hit him with the steel steps. Scout then hit a spinebuster on the steps and almost got the three count. In the end of the match Scout locked in The Special Force and Adam is screaming in pain in the middle of the ring. Scout must have it held in for a minute at the least and is adding on pressure every second. All of a sudden from the back comes Guide. Guide walks towards the ring a little slow from the pain he got in his match. Scout doesn’t notice as he is focusing on the submission hold. Guide looks at the weapons in the ring and smiles. Guide suddenly begins stomping away on Scout and then kneeling down and laying loads of punches into his skull. The ref can’t do a thing though as it is No DQ. Guide then lifts him up and slams him into the steel steps. He then helps Adam Matravers up and tells him to go into the corner. Guide then hits the Guided Missile onto a steel chair while Adam climbs the top rope. Adam then jumps off and hits the Mile High Moonsault. 1…2…3! Adam retains the title thanks to Guide. Guide stares down at Scout before leaving the area. As he walks to the back Rolling Johnny Stones comes out and both men turn their eyes to the other for a split second before focusing on other things. Johnny goes to the ring and gets in. Johnny stares at Adam for a second before looking at the World Title. He then puts out his hand to shake Adams. Adam isn’t sure at first but finally does it. All Johnny says is “May the best man win!” Adam Matravers defeated Scout in 10:27 by pinfall with a Mile High Moonsault following interference from Guide. Adam Matravers makes defence number 3 of his GCW World title. Rating: C
Final Rating: C-
Quick Results:- Toby Juan Kanobi def. Don Henderson.

Another good show from you. Glad Rolling Johnny & Matravers picked up their wins in their respective matches and look forward to a match between them as well as the match between Guide & Scout and possibly something between all 4 of them. Also a something potentially with Beauchamp & Parker could be good I hope they remain heels though.
Still going great keep up the good work.

Saturday, Week 3, June 2008Last night GCW held GCW Libertas Dies at the Parliament Square and drew 494 fans. Feedback has been great. A lot of praise from people has come for the event. GCW feel it was the perfect show to go into next months.
Right now Adam Matravers VS Rolling Johnny Stones is set to be the big match at next months event. No word on who is walking out champion although some have said a decision will not be made until the end of the match when the pinfall is ready to be made.
Expect to see The New Wave face each other again next month as Guide & Scout have been on an ongoing feud for ages now and GCW feel a rematch between them will be really good.
Jason Caine & Josh Caine is gonna be the brother V brother match GCW has been waiting for. This has been planned ever since Jason & Josh was signed almost a year ago. Now its finally time to make it happen but right now theres no idea on who will be the better brother when its all said and done.
Last night after the tag team match was the debut of GCW's newest tag team, Monkey Business. GCW signed Kevin Jones & Jeremy Allen to come in and feud with The Canadian Blondes and possibly The Elimination Agents somewhere down the line. GCW see them as a great tag team and cant wait for them to prove how good they are.
Also Joey Beauchamp VS Steve Parker is said to be the match of the future. Both men are seen as GCW's future and actually seem really alike. GCW will keep them both heels as they feel that Joey & Steve can pull off a heel VS heel match. Plus if one of them was face it wouldn't be the same. Most are expecting to see Joey Beauchamp go over in order to push him into the Main Event. However Steve will still be pushed and hopefully be straight into the Pure Title hunt.

- Single Match - Guide VS Scout
One of the greatest teams in the history of wrestling, The New Wave. Over the past year they have been doing whatever it takes to get hold of the GCW World Title. Even if it means taking out their former partner. Guide & Scout have faced once before and the result was in Guides favor. Since then the have been in many matches with multiple opponents. However they have haven't been able to have that one big single match between them again. At The Anniversary that changes as Guide & Scout go one on one again to see who is the better New Wave team member.
- Single Match - GCW Pure Title - Josh Caine(C) VS Jason Caine
The two Caine Brothers were former tag team partners until one day when Josh Caine turned on his brother. Since then Jason has been waiting and waiting for his revenge. He wasnt able to get it though and instead Josh Caine went on and won the GCW Pure Title. Now though Jason Caine finally has his one on one chance to get revenge. - Triple Threat Match - GCW Women's Title - Geena The Warrior Princess(C) VS Joanne Rodriguez VS Miss Information
Geena has been dominating the Womens Division in GCW for months. Ever since she won the belt last January at New Dawn Rising she has been on a war path set top kill all who gets in her way. All who have crossed paths with Geena has been taken out thanks to her strange amazonian blade. Most have been taken out for multiple months, with the main ones being Joanne Rodriguez & Miss Information. Wow now both are back and after being unsuccessful in singles action with Geena now they get one more chance in a triple threat match. Can Geena continue on her path of destruction or can Joanne & Miss Information take her off her throne and become the new champion.
- Single Match - Joey Beauchamp VS Steve Parker
Two of the fastest rising stars in GCW. Both men as cocky as ever. Joey Beauchamp held the GCW Pure Title for months and feels he deserves to be World Champion. Steve Parker has yet to get that opportunity but he has impressed everyone with his skills. Can Steve Parker defeat the former Pure Champ or will Joey beat Steve and move up the ladder towards the World title?

GCW The Anniversary Medium Event Held at the Paddington Club in South UK, in front of 532 fans.Pre-Show Match, Fatal Four Way Match – Leo Price VS James Hernandez VS JD Morgan VS Walter MorganThis was a good match that really got the fans pumped for the rest of the show. All four men did a great job. Early on Walter Morgan dominated until James hit a thumb to the eye. From there James & Leo both helped take Walter Morgan. They then faced each other which James took the upperhand. JD Morgan then got involved and begins fighting with James Hernandez. Suddenly Walter Morgan came in and we had a Morgan/Morgan confrontation. A short staredown later and both men are going at it. The match continued with all four men beating the hell out of each other. In the end JD Morgan was knocked out outside. James Hernandez took down Leo Price and tried to lock in a submission when Walter Morgan came in, grabbed James by the arm and locked in the crossface. James tried to fight it as he reached out for the ropes. Leo Price got to his feet and just as his about to stop the submission James Hernandez taps out! Walter Morgan celebrates his victory and shakes the hand of Leo Price. James & JD Morgan though both walk off to the back upset with the loss. Walter Morgan defeated Leo Price, James Hernandez and JD Morgan in 9:55 when Walter Morgan defeated James Hernandez by submission with a Crossface.Rating: D+Opening Match, Single Match – Joey Beauchamp VS Steve ParkerThis was a pretty good match although some felt it could have been better. Both men did well and the crowd was really into it. Both men would try dirty tactics on the other and would also get really cocky if they took advantage. Both men was pretty much even the whole time. First one would have control then the other and it would go back and forth between them. In the end of the match however the ref got knocked down by Steve Parker by accident after missing Joey. Joey then took over and began beating down on Parker. Joey then went outside the ring and got a steel chair. Once back in the ring he awaited Parker to stand up. Before Steve got to his feet though the lights in the arena turned off. A strange light shined down on the ring but would start to flicker. Suddenly it turned off completely so the arena was in darkness. Finally they come back on and standing behind Joey Beauchamp is none other than Rod ‘The God’ Todd. Rod is now wearing a black hood over his head instead of his usual white and also has a meaner darker feel to him. Rod turns Joey around kicks him in the midsection. Rod lifts him up into the air and hits the Crucifix Powerbomb. Rod then lifts his arms into the air as a bright light shines down on him. Suddenly the light goes off and once back on again Rod is nowhere to be seen. Steve Parker comes to and realizes Joey is out and so he covers him. Once the ref crawls over to them he finally counts. 1…2…3!Steve Parker defeated Joey Beauchamp in 7:14 by pinfall following interference from Rod 'The God' Todd.Rating: D Tag Team Match – GCW Tag Team Titles – The Canadian Blondes(C) VS Monkey BusinessThis match was a big letdown. Flash Savage & Jeremy Allen were both off their game tonight and it worsened the match. Plus the crowd absolutely hated Jeremy Allen. They did not want to see him at all and was really vocal about it. Kevin Jones did a great job as did Oscar Golden. Early on in the match Monkey Business dominated. After a while though The Canadian Blondes took control after Jeremy Allen missed a splash. From there The Canadian Blondes began beating down on Jeremy Allen using lots of double teams. After a while Jeremy Allen broke free and took out Flash Savage. He then went to the corner and tagged in Kevin Jones. Kevin came in and cleaned house completely destroying the Canadian Blondes. Oscar came in from behind though and took Kevin down by his legs. This helped Flash Savage take control. Jeremy came in though and tossed Oscar over the ropes and then followed to beatdown on him. This left Flash Savage in the ring. Flash went to lock in the Canadian Crab. However Kevin Jones was too powerful as he broke free. Kevin then lifted Flash up by his throat and slammed him down hard on his back. 1…2…3! Monkey Business get the win to become new Tag Team Champions. Monkey Business defeated The Canadian Blondes in 6:57 when Kevin Jones defeated Flash Savage by pinfall. Monkey Business win the GCW Tag Team titles.Rating: E+Triple Threat Match – GCW Women’s Title – Geena The Warrior Princess(C) VS Joanne Rodriguez VS Miss InformationThis was a really good match. All three women did a great job and the crowd was really into it. Geena dominated early and foght back against the double team by Miss Information & Joanne Rodriguez. After a while though Joanne took control and threw Geena outside. From there Joanne and Miss Information had a friendly confrontation which Miss Information took advantage from. However that didn’t last long as Geena would come right back in and continue to dominate the match. In the end of the match Miss Information had taken out Geena after she missed Miss Information with the Women’s Title. Info then took Geena to the outside and went to work on Joanne. Info then picked up the belt and went to hit Joanne but also missed. Joanne took advantage as she went for a J Rocker but Miss Information tried to fight it so Joanne just threw her over the top rope. Geena then came into the ring and tried to hit Joanne with her Amazonian Blade but Joanne blocked it and suddenly picked her up for the J Rocker which she successfully hit. 1…2…3! Joanne becomes new Women’s Champion as she celebrates her victory. Miss Information then gets into the ring and hugs her in congratulations. Geena however slowly walks off angry with her loss. Joanne Rodriguez defeated Geena The Warrior Princess and Miss Information in 5:40 when Joanne Rodriguez defeated Geena The Warrior Princess by pinfall with a J-Rocker. Joanne Rodriguez wins the GCW Women’s title.Rating: D+ Single Match – GCW Pure Title – Josh Caine(C) VS Jason CaineThis was another good match both Caine Brothers did well and had good chemistry together. Jason went right to work on Josh right when the bell rang and he didn’t hold back. Josh had to roll out of the ring in order to get away and rest for a second. Jason though climbed the turnbuckle and jumped off onto his brother taking him out. From there Jason got him in the ring but as he entered Josh went on the attack and began beating him down. After a while of Josh in control the match began to go back and forth between them. In the end of the match Josh Caine went to hit a superplex off the top rope but Jason Caine fought back and shoved him off the turnbuckle. Jason then jumped off and hit a diving headbutt but only got a 2. Jason then waited for him to stand so he could hit a superkick. Once Josh is finally up Jason goes for it but right at the last second Josh moves his head and the kick misses. Josh then tries his own superkick but Jason grabs hold of it. He then spins Josh around a full 360 degrees. Once Josh is back facing Jason, Jason grabs him and hits a T-Bone suplex and goes for the pin. 1…2…Josh rolls through into a different rollup. 1…2…3! Josh Caine gets the pin out of nowhere as he quickly escapes the ring with his GCW Pure Title. Jason is left in the ring unaware of what just happened. Josh Caine defeated Jason Caine in 7:49 by pinfall with a rollup. Josh Caine makes defence number 1 of his GCW Pure title.Rating: D+Single Match – Guide VS ScoutOnce again another good match tonight this time is coming from two former partners that have been heating this rivalry for months. Finally after about 8 months of waiting they got a chance to settle it in the ring again. Both men did well and it was really back and forth the whole way through. Neither man backed down and a lot of times they would know what the other guy is about to do because they know them so well. Later on in the match both men was also trying to hit their finishers but every time the other man would counter it and try to do theirs. This went back and forth for a while also. In the end however Scout finally got a finisher however instead of his own he hit The Guided Missile which Guide was not expecting. Instead of going for the cover though Scout tried to lock in his finisher, The Special Force. Guide suddenly got some life back and quickly rolled out of it and locked in his own version of the Special Force. With Scout locked in tight and screaming in pain, Guide could see his win coming. After fighting and fighting and fighting, Scout finally had enough. Scout raised his free hand and was about to drop it for a tap out when suddenly Guide let his grip loosen just a tiny bit. Scout noticed it and suddenly rolled through the move and locked in the real Special Force. Guide couldn’t believe it as it happened and then the pressure was on. Guide began screaming in pain and reaching out for the ropes but it was too far away. After about a minute of trying to hold in the pain he just couldn’t do it. Guide dropped his hand down a couple of times signaling the tap out and the end of the match. Scout gets the win by submission as he celebrates his victory over the lifeless corpse of his former partner. Scout defeated Guide in 8:46 by submission with a Special Force. Rating: D+
Main Event Single Match – GCW World Title – Adam Matravers(C) VS Rolling Johnny Stones A fantastic match added to the list of greatest matches in GCW history. Both men did great and the crowd was more into it then any other match. Their throat must have hurt after the show because it was nonstop chanting the whole match. Lots of boos for Adam although there was an Adam chant later in the match. The match was really even the whole way through. Either man could have picked up the victory at any time. Rolling Johnny Stones will proved why he is in GCW and did his best performance so far in GCW. In the end of the match both men had been bloodied and battered. Both men stood in the ring with hardly anything left, exchanging right hands back and forth. First Johnny would punch, then Adam, then Johnny again and it went like that for a few seconds before Adam went for a clothesline that Johnny dodged. Johnny then kicked him in the midsection and tried to lift him in the air. However his legs gave way and he dropped to the mat. Adam took advantage and came out of nowhere with a Matraver Cutter. Instead of pinning though Adam signaled that he was going to the top rope. Adam climbed to the top and once there he faced out to the crowd with his back to Johnny. He then launched himself off and tried to hit The Mile High Moonsault. Right at the last second though Rolling Johnny Stones rolled just an inch away forcing Adam to hit the mat hard. Johnny took over then and hit a magnificent Brainbuster 1…2…3! Rolling Johnny Stones gets the win to become the New World Champion. Johnny Stones then begins to celebrate with his World Title. Rolling Johnny Stones defeated Adam Matravers in 10:34 by pinfall after a Brainbuster. Rolling Johnny Stones wins the GCW World title. Rating: C
After a while of celebrating some unfamiliar music begins to play. Rolling Johnny Stones & Adam Matravers both stare at the entrance area to see who comes out. Suddenly from out in the crowd runs former GCW World Champion Barry Griffin. Barry gets into the ring and knocks down both Johnny & Adam. Griffin then begins beating down on both men before hitting Johnny Stones with the World Title. He then goes over to Adam and locks in the Powerbomb Deathlock. Security run down to stop Barry who finally releases the hold and walks off smiling as GCW The Anniversary comes to a close. Rating: E+

Saturday, Week 3, August 2008Last night GCW held GCW The Anniversary at the Parliament Square and drew 532 fans. Feedback has been wonderful, many people enjoyed it. It was a good show to celebrate the one year running of GCW.
The main event was seen as a big success. Rolling Johnny Stones & Adam Matravers did a great job. The decision to give the belt to Rolling Johnny Stones was seen as the best choice. They feel Johnny has a lot of potential an he deserved the title. He is expected to hold onto it for quite a long time.
Barry Griffin was the big surprise signing. He returns to the company after being out for almost a year when he decided to leave and go on tour in Japan. However his contracts had ended and he stopped touring and was thinking about getting back into a full time promotion. GCW instantly gave him a call and tried to bring him back. Expect Griffin to receive a big push in the main event and his 2nd reign with the World Title
The feud between Josh & Jason Caine is expected to continue for a trilogy of matches over the next 2 months. Right now the plan is for Josh Caine to hold onto the belt in all three matches. JAson Caine may win the belt however GCW is hoping to put him back into the Tag Division for a little bit.
Also last night Rod 'The God' Todd made his return to GCW after being out for a couple of months with an injury. The decision currently is for him to continue his feud with Joey Beauchamp where it left off. However this time Steve Parker may be added in. Currently is siding with Rod 'The God' Todd however he may turn on him later on in the feud to set up a possible match between the two.
Geena 'The Warrior Princess' was finally beaten last night by Joanne Rodriguez. GCW felt it was time Geena lost and that Joanne was the best women to win the belt. Currently Joanne is et to have a match with Geena & Miss Information individually and is expected to retain. Afterwards expect the debut of atleast one new Women to take on Joanne or the return of Carol Carr and possibly a big push for her.
It seems GCW is very unhappy with the performance of Jeremy Allen last night. GCW saw great things from him elsewhere and was expecting the same from him in GCW but it didnt turn out like that. The fans crapped all over it to and did not want Jeremy Allen to return next month. Lucky for them they may get their wish. It seems Jeremy Allen doesnt want that sort of reaction and so he is considering leaving GCW for one of his other offers he received lately. GCW are currently trying to hold onto Jeremy as they see him improving but if Jeremy does go expect a big change with the Tag Team Titles.
Finally GCW superstar JD Morgan has been released from his contract. This comes as a huge shock to everyone after being in the pre show match last night plus he was expected to continue his feud with UK Dragon once he returned from his tour in Japan. Currently neither GCW or JD Morgan has commented on the release but we are expecting to hear from Morgan in the next week or so.
One more thing to add is that GCW is holding the Global championship Awards on their website next week. They will give out a couple of awards to GCW superstars that deserve them. Expect things like superstar of the year, champ of the year, tag team of the year and stuff like that.

Lovely last show. Really good to see Rolling Johnny Stones get the belt and look forward to seeing what you do with him. Loved Todd's interference and how he disappeared costing Beauchamp. Wished Canadian Blondes would've retained though. Keep up the good work.

Nice to see Johnny Stones win the belt and I hope he keeps on to it for a while, I am with Fury and I think The Blondes should of kept on to the tag team titles but what ever, really disapointed that Geena lost the womans title but she had a good run, eh?.
Glad Josh Caine kept the Pure title and the feud with his brother is going along nicely, maybe you should bring in more main eventers because it seems to be Scout/Guide/Johnny Stones/Adam in some form of title match.

Tuesday, Week 4, August 2008The main news story this week is Jeremy Allen has left GCW. After hearing terrible reactions from the crowd Allen thought it would hurt his image way too much and so refused to perform in front of them. Jeremy Allen spoke to other promotions and worked out a deal to join them.
Of course this means that Kevin Jones is left without a partner. Because of this the GCW Tag Team Titles will be vacated. He will get a chance to fight for them again as next month at GCW's next event it will be a four corners tag team match to crown new champions. Currently no team has been announced except Kevin Jones and a mystery partner.
UK Dragon has completed his tour in Japan. Its said to have gone very successful. Expect UK Dragon to return to GCW at next months event.
GCW's awards will be given out this Friday night on the GCW website. Its just a small little thing to honor people that have done a good job in the past year in GCW.
It seems plans for the Josh Caine/Jason Caine matchups may be changing. At first it was meant to be Josh & Jason going at it for the next few months. Now however it seems GCW Management see Josh Caine too good for the Pure Title. They want to see him start main eventing by the end of the year. Some in GCW have questioned this and feel Josh is not and will not be ready by the end of the year plus they would rather not end this Jason/Josh Caine feud out of the blue.
JD Morgan has commented on his recent release from GCW. It appears JD Morgan was a bit upset at his release however he felt that GCW made the right decision. If they have nothing for you then they dont need you and you should leave. Maybe someday I will return but for now I am going to try my hardest to finally get a steady role in a promotion. JD Morgan has been released from his main promotion DAVE last year and since then has found it difficult to find anywhere else to work until GCW offered him a contract. We hope JD Morgan does well looking for a new promotion and hope he isnt stuck in the unemployment line too long.
