Saturday, Week 1, September 2008GCW will of course be traveling to Scotland for the next event as announced. They are currently scheduled to have the show at the Celtic Heritage Hall which seats a 1,000 people. GCW still have a deal with their proper venue Parliament Square however they have requested to do one show a month somewhere else which they agreed to. GCW at first was considering going somewhere in Europe however could not find the right venue. Instead they began searching other parts of the UK which they narrowed it down to Scotland or Ireland with Scotland winning. GCW see this as a way to get a bigger fan base.
Currently no word on what the main event will be. Expect it to involve Barry Griffin who returned last month however some have said that they dont expect Rolling Johnny Stones to go one on one with BArry Griffin just yet. A No.1 Contender match has also been suggested but again nothing official just yet.
The GCW Pure Title is expected to be on the line in Josh Caine's final defense. This is expected to be the time when Josh loses the belt and moves onto Main Event. Some still dont see him as ready so there is a high possibility he wont be pushed up yet. If he does lose the belt currently nobody has been made the 100% winner. Currently its going between Jason Caine, Joey Beauchamp & Rod 'The God' Todd. Walter Morgan was also suggested however he turned it down saying that theres no room for him to win a title and that he shouldnt even be considered. Walter Morgan is seen as a great backstage guy who is helping all the younger talent and really wants to see them make it on top.
Currently announced the GCW Tag Titles are on the line to find new champions. The titles were vacated last week after Jeremy Allen left GCW because of bad reactions and supposedly threats against him for coming down south to wrestle. Right now Kevin Jones is set to have a new partner to battle for the belts although currently nobody has been named. Plus a nw mystery tag team will show up although they are also currently unnamed. GCW expect to keep them a surprise until the match. Also no word on who the champs may be. Right now its looking towards either the mystery tag team or The Elimination Agents.
Joanne Rodriguez is expected to make her first defense against the former champion Geena 'The Warrior Princess'. Miss Information is expected to stay out of the event although she may possibly go up against some new women GCW are looking to bring in.

Wednesday, Week 2, September 2008The main news story this week is GCW have worked out an agreement with two womens promotions. 5 Star Supreme Wrestling & Angel Athletic Association both agreed today. GCW see this as a way to get new female talent and a way for their current talent to get more action. Right now it looks like a talent trade could be happening between GCW and one of these promotions in the next month or so.
Also GCW has announced Josh Caine VS Jason Caine for the GCW Pure Title at Anarchy in Scotland. Right now no word on who will be walking out as champion. The idea of Josh Caine in the main event is still around so possibility of him losing is quite high.
Finally GCW has announced that it will hold a Tournament night next month to crown a new No.1 Contender for the GCW Pure Title. No other news about it has been released except the winner will get his shot at next months event and the loser of Josh Caine & Jason Caine will be entered into it.

Tuesday, Week 3, September 2008GCW has released the full card for Anarchy in Scotland:- Fatal Four Way Match - GCW World Title No.1 Contender - Adam Matravers VS Scout VS Guide VS Barry Griffin
Rolling Johnny Stones has his first month as World Champion off. Instead its time to search for a challenger. These four men all with hate for each other will go all out to try and get the chance at the World Champion. Who will be left standing and go on to face Johnny Stones?
- Ladder Match - GCW Pure Title - Josh Caine(C) VS Jason Caine
Last month the brothers finally had their big one on one match. Both men gave it their all an in the end Josh Caine left Pure Champion. However its not over. This month Jason Caine gets his rematch and this time he got to choose the match type. Jason chose a Ladder match for the two brothers to finally settle it and prove who is the better Caine.
- Triple Threat Tag Team Match - GCW Tag Team Titles - Kevin Jones & ? VS The Canadian Blondes VS The Elimination Agents
Last month Kevin Jones won the GCW Tag Team Titles. However after his partner left him and GCW, the tag titles had to be vacated. This month Kevin Jones finds a new partner to take on The Canadian Blondes & The Elimination Agents. Can Kevin Jones regain his titles that he never lost or will we have different champions?
- Single Match - GCW Women's Title - Joanne Rodriguez(C) VS Miss Information
Last month Joanne Rodriguez was finally successful in becoming Womens Champion beating Geena & Miss Information. This month Geena is working elsewhere and so she will miss out on her rematch. Instead Miss Information will get another chance at the title. Can Joanne retain or will Miss Information make her first reign with the belt a short one?
- Tag Team Match - Walter Morgan & Rod 'The God' Todd VS UK Dragon & Joey Beauchamp
Last month Rod "The God" Todd made his return to GCW after being away a few months because of injury. Rod beatdown on Joey and showed him that it wasn't over between them. It may no longer be over the Pure Title but its still personal. Now they go on either side of the ring for a tag team match teaming up with two other upcoming superstars Walter Morgan & UK Dragon.
- Single Match - Steve Parker VS Jame Hernandez
Wrestlings future collides in the ring for what looks to be a great match between these two young athletes. Who will be moving up the ladder and who is stuck at the bottom?

GCW Anarchy in ScotlandMedium Event Held at The Celtic Heritage Hall in Scotland, in front of 500 fans.Pre-Show Match, Single Match – Huey Cannonball VS Merle O'CurleThis was a really good match before the show began. The Scotland fans got hyped up for the show even more thanks to the match. Both men did well and it was really even the whole way through. In the end Huey hit the Cannonball Run out of nowhere on Merle. 1…2…3! After the match both men shook hands. Huey Cannonball defeated Merle O'Curle by pinfall with a Cannonball Run.Rating: DOpening Match, Single Match – Steve Parker VS James HernandezThis was a great match between these two young athletes. Both men gave it their all and really impressed. Both men did a great job and showed everyone why they are the future of wrestling. It was right down the middle the whole way through. Neither man took a clear advantage except James once when he hit a thumb to the eye to get out of the Future Shock. Later in the match both men just kept reversing each other in a huge chain of reversals. At the end of the chain James tried to hit an Apparition #14. However once again Steve Parker reversed and tried The Future Shock. James would not stop their as he reversed a final time and this time hitting Apparition #14 successfully. 1…2…Kick Out! James couldn’t believe it. He began arguing with the ref as he did not believe that Parker could kick out of it. When he realized it was hopeless he turned to Steve and began setting up for a Superkick. Steve got to his feet but once the kick came at him he quickly ducked it and lifted James up and hit the Future Shock. 1…2…3! Steve Parker defeated James Hernandez by pinfall with a Future Shock.Rating: D+ Tag Team Match – Walter Morgan & Rod ‘The God’ Todd def. UK Dragon & Joey Beauchamp Another good match tonight. All four men did a good job. The rivalry between Rod & Joey was really heating up during the whole thing. The crowd really wanted them to go at it. Dragon & Joey dominated most of the match as they kept beating down on Walter Morgan and kept him in their corner. Both men would tag out every few seconds to keep each man fresh. Later in the match Walter Morgan finally fought back and took down UK Dragon both men then crawled to their corners for the tag. UK Dragon got their first as he slapped Joey’s hand. Joey ran into the ring and quickly tried to grab Morgan but Morgan jumped and slapped Rod’s hand for the tag. Rod came in and Joey slowly backed off. He tried to escape but Rod grabbed him as he began to lay into him. It didn’t last long however as Joey raked the eyes to distract him enough. He then went and tagged in UK Dragon. UK Dragon came in as him and Rod went at it. However in the end Rod ‘The God’ Todd set him up and delivered The Crucifix Powerbomb. Joey kneeled on the apron and could easily have come in to break the count however he decided not to as he slowly backed off and left the ringside area leaving UK dragon to himself. 1…2…3! After the match Rod shouted to Joey that it wasn’t over. Walter Morgan and Rod 'The God' Todd defeated UK Dragon and Joey Beauchamp in 8:10 when Rod 'The God' Todd defeated UK Dragon by pinfall with a Crucifix Powerbomb.Rating: DSingle Match – GCW Women’s Title – Joanne Rodriguez (C) VS Miss InformationThis was a great match both women did a great job. It was a straight out wrestling match the whole way through and no dirty tactics what so ever. Both of them shook hands before the match and wanted to really see who was better and proved they were both great. In the end of the match Miss Information went onto the turnbuckle and Joanne followed her. Both of them began fighting on the turnbuckle with right hands from both of them. In the end Joanne took control and suddenly hit a J-Rocker off the turnbuckle to the mat below. 1…2…3! After the match both girls shook hands and hugged again for a great match. They then celebrated together in front of the crowd. Joanne Rodriguez defeated Miss Information by pinfall with a J-Rocker. Joanne Rodriguez makes defense number 1 of her GCW Women’s title.Rating: D+ Triple Threat Tag Team Match – GCW Tag Team Titles – Kevin Jones & ? VS The Canadian Blondes VS The Elimination AgentsKevin Jones introduced his new partner, Johnny Highspot. Johnny came out and got a good reaction from the crowd. The match was good all three teams went all out. To begin with The Canadian Blondes tried to stay away and let the other two teams fight but that didn’t last long as the other teams stopped fighting for a moment so they could double team The Canadian Blondes. Finally Flash Savage got stuck in the middle of Genocide Agent & Kevin Jones as both men tortured him before finally taking him out of the match. 1…2…3! The Canadian Blondes are eliminated! Now it’s just down the The Elimination Agents & Kevin Jones/Johnny Highspot. Both teams went at it hard and in the end Suicide Agent was on the receiving end of a huge Powerslam by Kevin Jones. 1…2…3! Kevin Jones and Johnny Highspot defeated The Canadian Blondes and The Elimination Agents in 8:05; the order of elimination was The Canadian Blondes first, and finally The Elimination Agents. Kevin Jones and Johnny Highspot win the GCW Tag Team titles.Rating: D-Ladder Match – GCW Pure Title – Josh Caine(C) VS Jason CaineThis was a really great match. Both men went all out to prove who the better Caine is. They did everything to each other and did everything to each other with the ladders. The match was pretty much eve the whole way through although Jason dominated at one point when he began pounding Josh’s leg with the ladder. He then put it in the ladder and jumped on it. This stopped when Josh finally came back although when he went for the superkick it failed as his leg gave way and he collapsed. Jason then laughed at him as he slowly climbed the ladder. Jason then stood at the top looking around the arena smiling. He then reached up to grab the title belt but suddenly Josh used his good leg to kick the side of the ladder and push it over. The ladder fell and landed on the ropes however Jason Caine continued going as he flew over the ropes to the outside. Josh then slowly got up although only on one foot, set up the ladder and began climbing. Josh climbed a bit too slow though as he only got half way before Jason was back in. Jason had a chair in hand as he smashed it across the leg of Josh Caine. He then put his leg in-between the steps and pushed him on his back so he was dangling from the ladder with his stuck leg. Jason then went on the other side and began to climb. Once near the top though Josh Caine came back to life as he squeezed through the steps and used his good leg to kick Jason Caine in-between the steps and into the midsection. Jason climbed down a bit but was suddenly met with a kick to the face in-between the steps knocking him off the ladder to the mat. Josh then got out from between the steps and back onto the side of the ladder. He then slowly climbed up and grabbed his Pure Title. Josh Caine retains the title as Jason Caine can’t believe it. Josh Caine defeated Jason Caine when Josh Caine retrieved the belt. Josh Caine makes defense number 2 of his GCW Pure title. Rating: C-Main Event Fatal Four Way Match – GCW World Title No.1 Contender – Adam Matravers VS Guide VS Scout VS Barry Griffin Another really great match here between these four. All four men did well and Barry Griffin did well in his in ring return to GCW. All four men battered each other. They were all tired and bleeding by the end of the match. It was really even the whole way through. One thing during the match though was near the end Adam Matravers tried to lift up Barry Griffin and hit a Samoan Drop. However after the move Adam began feeling pain in his lower back and legs. However he continued the match and worked through he pain. Guide & Scout began fighting at ringside and in the end went all the way to the back with their fight leaving Barry & Adam alone. Barry Griffin tried to lock on the Powerbomb Deathlock however Adam reversed and took Barry down. Adam then went to the corner and was about to climb it for the Mile High Moonsault but decided against it and instead got Barry to his feet and hit a Matraver Cutter. Adam put his arm on Barry’s chest as the ref pinned. 1…2…3! After the match no celebrating began as EMT’s rushed down to check on Adam Matravers. Adam got out of the ring with his own power however had to be taken the rest of the way on the stretcher. The fans gave a standing ovation as he went out and Barry Griffin gave him a salute from the ring as he left. Adam Matravers defeated Guide, Scout and Barry Griffin in 10:19 when Adam Matravers defeated Barry Griffin by pinfall with a Matraver Cutter. Anarchy in Scotland was a good show would have prefered Griffen to win in the Main Event. Highspot and Jones seems like a pretty mismatched team. Reply to CHIKARA 07 please

Saturday, Week 3, September 2008Last night GCW held GCW Anarchy in Scotland at the Celtic Heritage Hall and drew 500 fans. Feedback has been great it seemed to have been another good show. Attendance was great considering it was in Scotland instead of England.
Huge news concerning Adam Matravers. Last night during the main event when Adam went to lift Barry Griffin he received a Herniated Spinal Disc. This is a serious injury that will force Adam to have surgery and be out of action for almost a whole year. This comes as a big blow to Adam & GCW. GCW wish Adam all the best and hope he gets better soon.
Posted on Adam Matravers Myspace is a response about the injury: First I would like to thank all the fans in Scotland and all over the world that has sent me emails and letters wishing me luck. The ovation last night was great and made me a lot happier during this whole situation plus Im very thankful for the respect from Barry Griffin he is a great wrestler and a great man. While laying on the stretcher and being wheeled to the back all I could think about was that this was not the last of Adam Matravers. I am hoping the surgery goes well and unfortunately I will be out for a whole year however when I do return, and I will return, I promise to go all out once again to entertain you fans. Thanks again to all and see you in a year. Adam Matravers
Although Adam's injury is a big blow to GCW, the show must go on. Of course Adam still won the main event last nght and because of that he is guaranteed a World Title match on his return. However next month taking his place will be Barry Griffin. Griffin will get his first shot at the belt in almost a year when he goes up against Rolling Johnny Stones.
Josh Caine is still Pure champion which shocked a lot of people. Most expected him to lose it for his push to main event status. People are looking at this as the end of the run for Jason Caine for a while and he will drop down the card a little bit. Instead expect whoever wins the tournament next month to fill his place. Currently nobody is rumored to win the tournament although expect rumors to be released soon.
Johnny Highspot made his GCW debut last night teaming with Kevin Jones to become new GCW Tag Team Champions. GCW is said to be thrilled with how Johnny did and see Kevin & Johnny as a great tag team together. Expect them to hold the belts for a while.
Last night Geena was working elsewhere unfortunately so she missed her match. Instead Miss Information took over and in the end it all worked out and it ended up a good match. GCW is expected to be putting Miss Information out on a Talent Trade next month however and whoever comes over will be starting up against Joanne and Geena.

The Scotland Show went well, shame Geena couldn't be their. Adam getting injured is a big blow, sucks for you, although it gives others the chance to get title matches. New tag champs is cool, although on their debut? Meh, either way. Glad to see Steve Parker getting a push.
Still awesome Jay.

Wednesday, Week 4, September 2008The main news story this week is GCW's newest signing. GCW today signed Edward Cornell, the cousin of the legendary Tommy Cornell. Tommy Cornell originally was going to sign his cousin up in TCW however instead of rushing him he searched around for a smaller promotion to build Edward up. GCW was the lucky company and they expect to see big things from Edward in the future.
Also Adam Matravers has had his surgery it is said to be a complete success. He is currently resting up and is said to be wanting to try and push himself as much as possible to get himself back as quick as possible.

I am about to go and read the first page, and see what this is about. But "Anarchy in Scotland" had a great write up, and a show based in Scotland = <33. You should have held it in the Braehead Arena in Glasgow, or Kelvin Hall. EDIT; Leave a reply to WCW '07 - '08?

Seemed like a good show, shame Matravers got injured, especially for a year. Liked the idea of the two brothers facing off in a ladder match too.

Can't believe I haven't replied to this is so long. Shame about what happened to Matravers as I was looking forward to him continuing his feud with RJS. The Pure title tournament should be interesting here's hoping Steve Parker or Rod Todd wins it. Edward Cornell being signed is also interesting and I love forward to seeing what your doing with him. The awards was also a very nice touch. Not much that I can really critique on this, it's very well written out, makes it seem like a real promotion, and It's been going a good time now, keep it up.

I didn't create any of the guys. On the game TEW this is the default database it comes with. Since they cant use real life or they will get sued, they created a whole new world called the Cornelleverse and thats what I use.
