Here's my 2nd attempt at an ROH diary. Last time I was cut short due to a banning . But here it is.
Backstory:Hey, my name is CJ Tanner. After the recent financial, and product quality drops, Gabe Sapolosky was released from his duties from Ring of Honor. Ring of Honor which was founded in 2002 by Rob Feinstein. At the time, ROH was just breaking out with guys like Low Ki and Paul London in the main event picture. A "Code of Honor" was made to make sure the wrestling stayed pure, and true to the sport. Ring of Honor was one of the first promotions to be based soley on technical wrestling. But slowly changing into more a hybrid federation of Technical and High flying. In 2003, Feinstein was caught trying to pick up a "14 year old boy" over the internet, and handed his half of ROH to his partner Cary Silkin. From there on out, ROH gradually broke away from the "Code of Honor" and developed into one of the most popular American Indy feds today. Gabe Sapolosky took over the booker role after Feinstein left, and his bookings have caused both controversy, and pleasure for all fans. Despite being voted "Booker of the year" in 2004, and 2005. His booking style has been said by many to be "terrible". His ways of booking haven't been keeping up, as attendance for ROH has been dropping rapidly, and sales in merchandise haven't been much better. One could wonder how he won 2005 "Booker of the Year" with this mess happening around him. Mr. Silkin though the same, and promptly released Gabe on New Years day of 2006. He's decided that I'd be best suited for the role given my vast knowledge of history in ROH, and the independent scene today. I plan on bringing ROH back to what it was in early 2004. Booming sales, a great wrestling product, and excellent booking and storylines to go along with it. Through my ways, I can only hope Ring of Honor will one day be as good, maybe even BETTER than what it once was...
