Four of the best women wrestlers in the world met on the pre-show to do battle. The match started as Taylor and Knox getting the best of Lacey and Ringer, with Taylor even hitting a dive to the floor. However, as the action slowed in the ring, Lacey and Ringer focused on Knox. Lacey and Ringer scored several close nearfalls on Knox, utilizing double-team attacks. When Lacey missed a clothesline and decked Ringer, Knox made a quick tag to Shantelle Taylor. Taylor cleaned house on Lacey and her rival, Ringer. Lacey hit Taylor with her Implant DDT later on, but only received a two-count when Knox made the save. In the late stages of the match, Knox had Ringer tied up on the outside, as Taylor caught Lacey going for another DDT and planted her with a Northern Lights Suplex for the win.

Davis' speed and agility threw Shelley off his guard early, but he managed to maintain his composure and, when Trik went up top for a Moonsault, threw him off the top and into the guardrails. Shelley got cocky with the smaller Davis, slapping him around while he was prone, and pinning him inside the ring with one foot. The cockiness of Shelley was almost his downfall, as Trik caught Shelley with a quick small package, but Shelley was even quicker in kicking out and putting the boots to the smaller competitor. When Shelley went for Shell-Shock, Davis managed to forward roll out of it, and hit Shelley with a Hurricanrana into the turnbuckle. Trik managed to sustain his comeback for only a minute before Shelley planted him with Shellshock for the win.

(4) Colt Cabana VS Claudio Castagnoli[/u]
"The Snobby Swiss Aristocrat" and "Classic" Colt Cabana provided a classic European style match-up, with both men using several holds and counter-holds in the early goings. Castagnoli managed to grab hold of Colt with a Cravate and keep him grounded during the middle-portion of the match, but the Chicago native would not be put down by it. Eventually, Castagnoli poked the eyes of the fun-loving Cabana, much to the dismay of the crowd. However, moments later Cabana fired up on Claudio, eventually sending him down to the mat with a strong Lariat for a nearfall. Cabana could not lift the bigger Castagnoli for the Colt 45, and Castagnoli caught with with a series of European Uppercuts.
