This is a Smackdown diary, so I'll only be doing Smackdown shows and PPVs. In the case of dual-brand shows, I will only post the results of my brand. I find things easier to stick with one brand.

Smackdown Preview - No Mercy Aftermath
No Mercy saw a lot of things. Batista won back the World Heavyweight Championship, and now the former champion, King Booker, has been traded. Smackdown GM Theodore Long just announced a Title vs. Title match for this week's Smackdown, pitting US Champion Ken Kennedy against The Animal Batista. Kennedy still has a 2-1 record against the Animal, but will he be able to win again?
Also at No Mercy, Chris Benoit made his in ring return as a mystery opponent for The Undertaker. The two battled it out, with Undertaker hitting two chokeslams, and Benoit locking in the crossface twice. But the match ran until the 25 Minute mark, which was the time limit. Chris Benoit has issued a statement saying he will call out The Undertaker on Smackdown! What does The Canadian Crippler have in mind?
Paul Lomdon & Brian Kendrick saw their Tag Team Championship run come at an end at No Mercy. On Smackdown, they will compete in a Contender's Match against William Regal & Finlay. Will the duo be able to come back from the humongous loss? This and much more on Smackdown!
