ECW.COM June 1st 2007 ECW is Back! by Paul Heyman Yes, you read correctly, ECW has returned. Our new owner, Mr. Dale Clarke has bought back the ECW trademark after an undisclosed offer to the opposition, but sadly not the pay-per-view names, but we have gained the slot on Sci-Fi, as well as signed a number of superstars who have either been released or have quit WWE. The next show will be Hardcore Homecoming on Sunday 24th June, and we will be updating our website with roster additions as well as the card for Hardcore Homecoming.

WWE wouldn't sell the Trademark, for ANY amount of money. It can bring them in too much money on sales of merhchanise etc etc... and as much as former ECW superstars 'loved' ECW, I doubt they would quit well paid jobs in WWE (which gaurentee they can support their family) for a promotion starting up, under a new owner, they don't even know... Gah, this really isn't off to a good start, hopefully your show impresses.

RVD vs Sabu is always good and I can see ECW giving money to WWE if they did return to try and stop any law suits from happening. Isn't the best start to a dairy but maybe your 1st show will change a few minds.

Hardcore Homecoming looks like it will be a good show, RVD vs. Sabu - Extreme Rules should be good, or it could be a botch fest, either way, it'll be entertaining.
Dreamer/Tanaka should be a good match
As should Bulldogs vs. Hero and Kash

ECW Hardcore Homecoming ResultsA video package is played, showing clips from past ECW shows, before they were bought out by WWE. After the final clip is played the words "And Now... IT RETURNS!" crashing onto the screen as ECW Hardcore Homecoming kicks off. Welcome to the true ECW Paul Heyman kicks off the pay-per view in the ring and thanks the fans for being here tonight in the ECW arena. Heyman announced that Tuesday night on Sci-fi, the true ECW returns to Sci-fi, and that it will be a huge show. Heyman announced that the ECW heavyweight championship will be determined in a tournament that will begin on this Tuesday's ECW, with each match being contested under Extreme Rules. Kevin Thorn Defeated Devon Storm - Rating: 55% The match is fairly even during the start of the match match, with neither extremist getting an advantage on their opponent. Kevin Thorn took the advantage midway however after hitting a vicious kick to the skull of Storm, Thorn dominated from this point onwards and got the pinfall after hitting the crucifix on Storm. Balls Mahoney Defeated Abyss via DQ - Rating: 59% Abyss brutally attacked Mahoney from the time the ring bell rung, and never really let up on Mahoney from the get go. Abyss got himself disqualified after hitting a black hole slam on Balls Mahoney through a table, but Abyss continued the attack after the match ended, and even hit a black hole slam on the referee. A hype video is played, hyping Tuesday night's ECW on the Sci-fi network. Chris Hero & Kid Kash Defeated The Stampede Bulldogs - Rating: 66% All four extremists went at it from the get go, and it took the referee a while to sort everyone out and get Kid Kash and TJ Wilson out of the ring. The Stampede Bulldogs dominated the match, using great tag team maneuvers to take the advantage over Kid Kash. Kid Kash finally got the hot tag to Chris Hero, who took out Harry Smith before hitting the Hero's Welcome for the pinfall. A hype video is played, hyping Chris Jericho's return to the wrestling ring. "Lionheart" Chris Jericho Defeated Rhino - Rating: 88% Rhino took a slight advantage during the early part of the match, hitting countless power moves to keep Jericho grounded. Jericho fought back, hitting in some quick technical moves, and nearly getting the win after hitting the lionsault, but Rhino kicked out after a two count. Rhino nearly got a win when he hit the gore, but Jericho kicked out. Rhino went to hit a second gore, but was sent shoulder first into the ring post, allowing Jericho to lock in the walls of jericho, for the submission victory. Team 3D are backstage for an interview. They talk about how they have returned to ECW, and will dominate the ECW tag team divison once again. Tables Match Team 3D Defeated Terry Funk & Brother Runt - Rating: 78% A brutal match between four ECW originals, working under Tornado tag rules. Team 3D took out Terry Funk early on, when they hit the 3D on the ramp, leaving Funk hurt. Brother Runt tried to fight back, but he was no match for Team 3D, who layed him out with a brutal chair show from Brother Devon. Brother Ray lit the table on fire, and hit the 3D to Brother Runt throught the flaming table for the victory. A video package is played, Hyping ECW's next Pay Per View, "ECW End Game" Extreme Rules Masato Tanaka Defeated Tommy Dreamer - Rating: 77% Both Tanaka and Dreamer showed their brutality in this match. Dreamer fought back with a kendo stick, snapping it over the head of Tanaka, but it was not enought as Tanaka took the advantage once again, this time hitting the diamond dust on Dreamer. Tanaka followed up with a Roaring Elbow, followed by the pinfall for the victory. Rob Van Dam is backstage with a microphone to talk about his upcoming match against Sabu. RVD talks about how he has always been a pinnacle of ECW, and that tonight he will prove that he is "Mister... E...C...W" Main Event: Extreme Rules Match Rob Van Dam Defeated Sabu - Rating: 86% An excellent match to top of a great show. Both superstars gave it their all and definetly look like title contenders after this match. Neither extremist could get any kind of advantage in this match, and it was even throughtout. Sabu used his trademark chair throwing skills to take Van Dam of his feet, and went to hit the triple jump moonsault, but Van Dam had it scouted, and got his knees up to counter, allowing Van Dam to take over the offence. RVD nearly got the pinfall after hitting the Van Daminator, but it was not enough, and he was forced to go to the top rope, hitting the five star frog splash through a table leading to RVD getting the pinfall on Sabu for the victory in a clasic match up. As ECW Hardcore Homecoming comes to an end, Rob Van Dam helps Sabu to his feet, Rob Van Dam and Sabu shares a handshake, after an excellent match.

It's pretty good so far, yet i have a feel that it's more like an ECW huge tribute other than a serious promotion. Keep it up, i would like to see how you will turn it.

Great so far, love the roster, love Jericho back as the Lionheart, just keep it up and try not to go too over-the-top with signings. But Hero makes me very happy heh
