Dunno if I listed this one already but the trailer scene in the hills have eyes was quite disturbing. The first time I saw it I wanted to cry, I just kept picturing my family in that situation and it really got to me.

I'm not trying to sound like a hardass, but honestly nothing has scared me since I was twelve. I've seen I spit on your Grave, Irreversible, Mordum, Last House on the Left, Cannibal Holocaust, most of those movies that are known to be pretty gruesome and have yet to be unsettled. I'm still searching. Salo is next on my list.

I'll go with something no one's mentioned yet. Chaos, I could only imagine what that must've felt like for a girl to get knifed from one hole to the other.

The Heart Is Deceitful Above All Things
Just a terrible, f*cked up, depressing movie. And then the two kids get a Disney TV show. Go figure.

Probably Cloverfield.
I can watch anything and it doesn't really bother me, but this film, I really don't know what it was, but I had a really strange feeling when I left the cinema. Everything was really quite eerie and calm outside, not many people around the parking lot, just gave me the urge to run to my car, lol.

I am not unsettled easilly, and still have not found a film that has really got to me, but the one that has got nearest is easilly funny Games (Original), just the way it is directed is superb, and after seeing it I did feel a little wierd. Michael Haneke is a genius at times.

Jarhead.
yeah, I know.
but I put my self in Gyllenhaal's shoes and felt the emotion, all I wanted to do while watching it was see my girlfriend. I suffer from bad separation anxiety so I really couldn't imagine being over in Iraq, and experience everything he did.

Mask gave me terrible nightmares. American Beauty was also a little unsettling after he was shot.

KIDS was the first movie I ever saw where I wanted to scrub myself w/ a brillo pad afterwards. Awesome movie though.
American History X is another that is just a powerful movie that gets to me every time i see it. Norton is so awesome and his portrayal in this flick is amazing.

For a real answer I will say Cabin Fever. That shaving scene gives me the willies.

"The Bone Collector" made me uneasy because some of my loved ones ride taxis. If you watched the movie you'll know what I mean.
"Cloverfield" was also quite unsettling... the way the movie was filmed (first person point of view) made you feel very connected to the movie and it felt so real like you just experiened it first hand.

platoon might be one, due to having uncles who served. one of which did not return. more recently Departed had a swift ending that made my stomach drop.

i always thought signs was pretty disturbing mainly because it was one of the increasing rare films were the scaryness was psychological rather than just stupidly gory.obnoxious amounts of gore just puts me off films because i find it boring. Like someone else said, Battle royal was pretty unsettling as the main character is a nice guy who is being made to suffer because of a lot of violent and obnoxious kids. Battle Royal 2 is unsettling because it is so bad.I hated that film
