When did they announce the Cena/Orton/HHH match was a No DQ match? As soon as the match started and Orton used the belt and they said it was a no DQ match my brother and I were like "what the hell?" Neither of us heard anything on Raw or Smackdown about that stipulation

Think triple threat matches always are. This was discussed on here recently and people agreed that they thought it would be No DQ.

As far as I've known, Triple Threat is always No DQ.
And also, Orton used the belt before the bell I believe.

Triple Threat matches are all no DQ, yet there ARE rope breaks. Lol, I could never understand that.
"You better let go of him or I will non-DQ you!"

OK thanks. I guess I never realized all triple threat matches were No DQ. I know it wouldn't make much sense for a triple threat match to end in a DQ or a countout, I just never heard them mention it even once on TV.

That's one of the elements they failed to capitalize on during that match. Especially since you have three superstars that would stop at nothing to win the title.
The reason for this? There was very little activity outside the ring the whole event, my assumption is that the lighting from being outside played a major factor, it looked much darker therefore they scripted everything to take place within the ring.
This is one of my MAJOR complaints with this Mania, they could have done a lot more with most of the matches if they would have utilized the outside more.
