Ok, well I decided to pop in the Director's Cut of Donnie Darko lat night as I couldnt find my copy of the original. Before then, I put in the special features on disc 2, and watched the winner of the "Donnie Darko #1 Fan" contest. Now at first, he seems like a normal fan, but like the Bjork stalker, he just gets crazier and crazier. Watch this, as creepy as it is, I couldn't stop ing laughing. Part 1- Part 2- It was pretty funny how he actually traced down the guy who played "Frank"

Frank is James Duval, he's in quite a few good films in the 90's....one of my favorites beings SLC Punk! but he's also in a trilogy of films by the same director that were pretty popular and critcially acclaimed, i forget the director's name, but the movie out of the collection I liked the most, the second one, The Doom Generation, was one of Rose McGowan's first breaks.

I'm pretty sure I never asked who James Duvall was, since Ive seen him in SLC Punk and Go. But thatnks for the override of information anyways. Hexus gives this post... Yeah, this guy is definitely off his rocker. Donnie Darko is my favorite movie, but I'm thankful that I'm no where near as weird as this dude.

Totally creeps me out...and I still don't see the big stink over this movie. I mean it was good, but I don't understand the following.

There's something really unique about it and it's just so completely different than other movies I've seen. You really have to pay attention to get it, and it seems to get better the more times you see it. I just love how they develop the characters in the movie. Not just Donnie or Frank, but you really get a feel for every character - even the more minor ones.

I watched this film last night. The Directors cut is meant to be a bit crap compared to the original.
I don't understand it though. I'm watch it again next week.
I think it's a really good film.
